  1. I think a fair punishment would be a 1 year ban from all speedway and an additional 12 months from national team events (national champs, GP, GP qualifiers, SWC and etc). After all that was the punishment for Dudek so Ward shouldn't be treated any differently, especially since Ward was very well aware of what he was drinking while Dudek (atleast in theory) might have gotten the illegal substance into his system without intent.
  2. Sure we are finished in Sweden by the end of October, the season here finished almost two weeks ago. Due to the Swedish climate, it is usually cold and rainy (possible even snow in a worst case scenario; see this article: http://www.thelocal.se/20131014/50784) in the end of October. Very unsuitable for speedway. The Polish finals were held a week ago so they're also finished by the end of October.
  3. seemed like a nice interview with "Grisha", I have no idea what they were talking about though. ;=)
  4. Gardell would have excluded Nicki even if the situation would have been the opposite. As I have said before, nowadays the referees have two sets of rules. 1 set for 15 of the riders and 1 set for Nicki. 1st set = try to determine who caused it and exclude him. 2nd set = exclude Nicki no matter the situation.
  5. ------- 10 hours it is: http://www.timezoneconverter.com/cgi-bin/tzc.tzc
  6. I don't think we'll see Lindgren getting another wild card since Freddie himself said this to speedwaygp.com: http://speedwaygp.com/news/article/3239/freddie-time-to-deliver
  7. If the FIA would give him a very short ban, I think that Wada might step in and appeal the decision to CAS since Wards (like I said a few posts ago) that Ward did not only violate FIM's rules but also Wada's anti-doping rules which FIM have implemented into their own rules. I also think that the long delay might be due to that this, after all, is a prejudice ( in speedway at least) and FIM probably wants to make sure they have water tight case as well as that the punishment will be adequate enough since it probably would be used for future references if this situation would happen again.
  8. 1. He was over the allowed limit of alcohol. Doesn't matterif he think he was clean or not. He was over the limit. He should not drink alcohol beverages the night before a Grand Prix and especially not the amount that will cause him fail a test by midday the next day. 2. What relevance does it have? If you drink then drive and fail the breathalyser test because you are over the limit, you have to take the consequences. 3. No I have not. I don't drink and drive.
  9. Very poor performance from the Polish spectators by booing at Nicki the award ceremony.
  10. Unless Nicki is involved because then he will be excluded 12 times out of ten no matter the situation.
  11. Screamer, judging from what I have seen of KL (SWC) I wouldn't say that is the same level as Moto Arena Torun. Haven't seen much of the other three, possible a SWC semi at PB a few years ago which was pretty good. Then Torun is not only a good track but a very good arena, probably the best track/arena in the world.
  12. That has all changed now since Tai suddenly have found good speed and now has two straight wins and 8p which could be enough for semi final. I think Tai will take the bronze now.
  13. Why? Freddie's exclusion was correct. He was too hot. Had it been Nicki there would have 50 pages already with hateful comments regarding how a dirty move was from Nicki. All 4 back would just be "exploited"/miss-used be the referees. --- That was a superb ride by Smederna's Przedpelski
  14. I don't remember exactly what the agreement between BSI/SGP/FIM - OneSp/SEC/FIm Eur,says but there was something that SEC agreed to not give wild cards to permanent SGP-riders. This would means that if Tai wants to ride in the SEC, he have to qualify via the SEC qualifiers.
  15. 1. Actually you are nor correct here. Rider name at #50 is Robert Pettersson, while the rider name at #57 is Robert Peterson. I don't know if it is the same rider or different riders. 2. I Have no idea but I have sent out some inquiries.
  16. if a FIA would be too lenient, then WADA probably would become involved since it was violation of Wada's anti-doping rules.
