  1. The last thing I heard/read was about a 4-5 weeks ago, a newspaper article in my local newspaper where PK said that he then hadn't decided then if he would do another season but if he would, he would re-sign with his Swedish team Smederna. I also assume that if he continues for another season he will also rides for his Allsvenskan team Örnarna which are based in Mariestad which is very close to where PK lives (Gullspång). As you know Freddie won't be doing the SGP next year and neither will he do Allsvenskan, so that won't be a problem. I haven't heard anything more specific, possibly he might try the Danish league?
  2. Prague is a permanent track, also both Daugavils and Riga are permanent tracks,
  3. 7 teams are confirmed unfortunately, also that average cap and etc will be the same as last year. No decision have been take regarding the schedule yet
  4. Linus Sundström have signed with Lejonen. http://www.speedwaynyheter.se/elitserien/sundstrom-klar-for-lejonen/
  5. PK could have replaced Batchelor instead. It is politics to include him over PK.
  6. As mentioned in another thread, the dates/venues for 2015 SEC will not be decided until FIM have announced their dates for their 2015 championships; SGP, SWC, Qualifiers, U21 individual and team events and etc. Then One sport can put their events in the weekend slots that are available.
  7. Vetlanda's team so far for 2015: http://www.vetlandaposten.se/artikel/115989/stjarnorna-stannar-i-elit-vetlanda
  8. Jonsson stays with Rospiggarna, http://www.speedwaynyheter.se/rospiggarna/jonsson-forlanger-med-rospiggarna/
  9. I think perhaps that BSI/FIM felt that MJJ vs. PK were equal and that MJJ got it because he have been left out a few times before.
  10. You apparently missed his rides in SWC this year.
  11. Freddie Lindgren confirms that he will not be in the 2015 Grand Prix series. He says that he will decline if offered a season-permanent wild card and that he wants to be higher up in the standings because otherwise there is no point with it. http://www.racemagazine.se/speedway/lindgren-lagger-ned-vm-satsning/
  12. Mildura, that is Leigh Adams territory isn't it?
  13. I don't think anyone doubts that and that is (partially) why those three are all world champions. However the discussion was about public slamming of Nicki/other riders.
  14. To quote Panda, proof please. The Monster kids I know of.
  15. I'll see if I can find it. It was either during a GP or SEC event. I think it was the same weekend as one of the Polish semi-finals, He have deleted the tweet now, it was posted on September 14th and it was in a Polish meeting and not SGP/SEC.
  16. It's not the first time Darcy does that. He have done it on several occasions.
  17. According to Speedway racing, the season will start in Warsaw at April 25th. They also claim these dates: Then they say that SWC RO & Final will be held at Vojens with a semi each in KL and Poland. http://www.speedwayracing.se/nyheter/54/
  18. You miss the point. From the rule/legal point of view Darcy was riding under the influence from the moment that he arrived at the track. Regardless if he was standing in the pit area or out on the track on a bike, he was considered being under the influence of alcohol in conjunction with a meeting. The competition starts when Darcy arrives at the track and ends when he leaves the track. So from the moment that he arrived at the track, he was considered being under the influence of alcohol "In competition" and thus should receive a punishment for that.
  19. I know flight time from Auckland to Melbourne is approx 3,5 hours which is about 1 hour longer then a flight from Heathrow to Stockholm-Arlanda but I don't think it really matters that much if the flights are 2,5 hours or 3,5 hours long and they do have low cost carriers down under just like we do. The distance from Sydney to Melbourne by road is "just" 200km longer then the road distance from Stockholm to Copenhagen (and an additional 300km to Vojens from CPH). Then MEL and SYD are each the same size as Stockholm and CPH together.
  20. No more gamble then any other track. The vast majority of the spectators at any GP are locals anyway so there isn't any difference between Australia and the European GPs. Is there any difference then a few people from NZ or Sydney flying to Melbourne then a few Brits flying to Stockholm?
  21. From a rule/legal point of view Darcy was riding under the influence. I agree that it is different though since Darcy consumed the illegal substances on purpose while Dudek (in theory) could have consumed the illegal substances by mistake, so yes the punishment should be different (=stronger).
  22. Rzeszow, Torun, Wroclaw and Zielona Gora seems to be the clubs he is negotiating with. https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=sv&sl=pl&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.sportowefakty.pl%2Fzuzel%2F474551%2Fgrigorij-laguta-negocjuje-z-klubami-z-rzeszowa-torunia-zielonej-gory-i-wroclawia
  23. Wasn't that the whole point if his/hers comment? That for most fans it does not matter where the season finale is held since most people watch it on tv anyway.
  24. Well how many speedway fans (who have to pay for their own travel/accommodation/tickets) travels to all of the SGP in Europe? How many fans have a season ticket to the SGP? How many speedway fans travel from abroad to each GP?
