Örnarna-Valsarna was abonded after 4 heats. The start was delayed by about 80 minutes and then after 4 heats they started to get problems with power outages. http://www.speedwaynyheter.se/2015/05/07/installt-pa-canvac-arena/ -

There are some Masarna fans on location at the track. They have a nice little drive from Avesta to Malmö and back home. About 1300km which is about 800miles. What about SNP then, aren't they the yellows? heat 10 is frozen. 3p Antonio, 2p Max, 1p Lindgren. -

Nasty crash in heat 3. Jablonski hit Engman's backwheel and was somersaulted onto the track but all riders are ok. There will be a short break since the airfence need to be repaired. -

Both. If you look at the temporary tracks. They all suffer from the same problem. They develop ruts and holes very quickly, sometimes already during practice. Then everyone can see that these ruts and holes also appears during the race. Add to that Philips comment that the same material is used for all tracks= same problem on all tracks that uses that material. Like Nicki P says "They have been laying these tracks for 15 years so they should know hot to do it". Nicki also says that when they drove a tractor on the track, the track's structure changed. Here it says that the track was too loose. Sure Rander often has "I know best attitude" especially when it comes to Swedish speedway and I often don't like/agree with what he writes but even a blind man (no offence to anyone) can see that there is something wrong being done with these temporary tracks. Morgan Andersson, team manager for the Swedish national team and also an expert for Cmore, says that the track was laid too late (although other sources have claimed the opposite) and that meant that it didn't have enough time to settle (or burn as we say in Swedish). http://www.svt.se/sport/jonsson-brot-warszawas-gp So If Ole isn't doing it wrong, why do "we" keep having problems with the temporary tracks (ruts, holes, track too loose and etc)? Because it isn't done right. Links originally posted in this post: http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=78246&page=54&do=findComment&comment=2601984 At least permanent tracks are done the same way: see these pics: http://www.svenskalag.se/galleries_show.asp?teamID=1227&TeamGalleryID=15119 http://www.svenskalag.se/galleries_show.asp?teamID=1227&TeamGalleryID=15608 That is what Morgan Andersson also says (see link above). -

So if you don't know anything about track building, how can you be so sure that Richard doesn't know anything about track building? So question still stands, why don't you ask him? Dunno but I wouldn't be too surprised if Richard knows more about track building then Ole Dole Olsen does. On the other hand, that is hardly a merit, is it? -

*edit no it was just results links. It is being showed on Csports.se but I don't know if there are any un-blocked streams available. Live results for Vetlanda-Smederna. http://ta.svemo.se/Public/Pages/Competition/DrivingSchedule/CompetitionLiveResult.aspx?Branch=Speedway&Columns=CompetitionInfo,Branch,Name,Arena,Organizer,FromDateShort&Datefilter=Today&pagesize=10&CompetitionId=4606 5-1 Vetlanda in heat 1. 4-2 Smederna in heat 2. We had 5-1 for two laps but Henderson for some reason didn't ride the ideal line along the white line so he lost 2nd place. Surprise surprise Hampel is suddenly not sick, could be because the sun is shining. Vetlanda are such cheaters. 5-1 Vetlanda heat 3. Heat 4, King Kenni reigns supreme. 3-3. Heat 5, 3-3 Przedpelski lead to the final bend when Ljung passed on the inside, Heat 6 5-1 Vetlanda and I have turned off the stream. -

Because they are doing it wrong. They use the same material for the entire track instead of using layers of 2-3 different type of material. Perhaps they are taking a short cut by not using at least a second layer below the only material that they use now. -

Richard Child (Greg's Team manager): "the most stupid part is that it is easy to build a track". -
The rules says that a rider that gets convicted for a doping offence should have his or hers scores removed in those competitions he/she have participated in between the time of testing and the time at which the rider gets suspended. In this case that mean that Darcy's average will be recalculated which means that his average this season will be slightly higher. This causes Piraterna to be unable to use the team that their team manager had intended but that is his own fault. Darcy was not forbidden to ride BUT any team that used him or (re-)signed him before the final verdict should be aware of the consequences of doing so. Now Darcy was later convicted and FIM correctly decided that his scores for this period shall be removed. This cannot be disputed because FIM follwed their own rules. The team(s) and rider(s) affected cannot complain afterwards about something they should have been aware of. Piraterna chose to use Darcy in that one meeting and they chose to re-sign Darcy despite not knowing what the outcome of the FIM investigations/hearing would be. They screwed up and now they are trying to fix it by blaming FIM and by appeal their decision. In Sweden we a have proverb saying "som man bäddar får man ligga". Basically it means that when you make your own bed you can only blame yourself for the status of the bed. Stefan "Ando" Andersson (the former speedway rider) took a gamble which backfired, he and Darcy cannot blame someone else for their mistakes. One can argue whether or not the rule shall exist or if a rider failing an alcohol breath test should be immediately suspended until FIM have decided on a verdict. But until the rules are changed it is down to every rider and team manager to be aware of the rules. If the they decide to take a gamble, fine, but don't complain if the gambling doesn't pay off and it backfires. Like it did in this case. So as I said, this is just another pity Darcy/pity us article. You (=they) created your own mess so live with it and stop blaming the FIM.

We don't have that kind of guest system in Sweden. A team can only use it's own riders. -
Another of those "buhu i did wrong but don't want to take the consequences".-articles. They won't accept that Darcy's average will be changed because his results from the meeting in Sweden that he rode between Latvia GP and his provisional suspension will be removed which is accordingly to the rules for someone who are convicted of a doping offence. Just a case of a team manager not reading the rule book properly, http://www.mvt.se/sport/speedway/piraterna-kommer-att-slass-for-att-halla-darcy-wards-snitt-nere-11001782.aspx

Hampel claimed that he became ill while he was on his way to the meeting, but more likely it was more a case of aquaphobia and I wouldn't be surprised if he suddenly have recovered by tomorrow. I don't know what Smederna was thinking except saving money (travel costs) perhaps since all the riders already were there and I assume lack of other available days. the Elite League is occupying pretty much any other suitable day and then there are other meetings as well in DK, Sweden, Poland and etc... While I understand that Mikkel have to ride in Denmark, PK should be obligated to prioritize Sweden since it is in the rules and his Swedish teams have to come first. -

Vetlanda will possibly use R/R for Hampel but it is still unconfirmed though. Lejonen - Rospiggarna is off: http://www.lejonen.se/Nyheter/Nyheter1/Installt/ In Vetlanda they are waiting to see if the rain stops. IIRC they have good track covers in Vetlanda so as long as the rain stops within a reasonable amount of time I think that meeting will be able to go ahead but no guarantees though. Read more: http://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/14375/lejonen-rospiggarna-elitserien-2015-6pm?page=1#ixzz3ZHhMoZFR Track was not covered in Vetlanda. Meeting off.
