  1. I don't know about Juha Hautamäki. Ask F-s-p he should know. Ref decides to freeze the heat.
  2. He is not Bogdanovs son as far as I know. He is a local rider from Malmö who have emerged from their 80cc "whateveryoucallitinenglish".
  3. Rospiggarna and Smederna have agreed on July 21st as a new date for the postponed meeting but the new date needs approval from Svemo before it becomes official. http://norrteljetidning.se/sport/1.2985102-nytt-datum-foreslaget-for-rospiggarna-smederna

Btw Alan, the commentator is mentioning "you " (to our international viewers).
  5. I never said it was easy just that MotoGP riders doesn't have ride om tracks full of ruts and holes like the speedway riders had to in Warsaw and Tammerfors (and the other temporary tracks). If the riders on MotoGp would be faced with race tracks in MotoGP that they considered unsafe don't you think that they would complain too? I fully understand if the riders sometimes doesn't feel motivated to give 110% if the track looks like it did in Warsaw which WAS way worse then Tammerfors (not the latter was particular good either though)
  6. It's easy for him to say that races on smooth asphalt tracks.
  7. More knee problems for Kildemand: http://www.fyens.dk/sport/Kildemand-ude-med-nye-knae-problemer/artikel/2717494
  8. Live Allsvenskan speedway tonight. http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=63303&p=2616549
  9. No it is in their rules and so I don't see how they could do anything else then to follow their own rules (* 1.10.1) . If they didn't I assume some of the other clubs would file a formal complaint/appeal to RF which then likely would tell Svemo that they have broken their own rules.
  10. There are a few clips available from the meeting at: http://www.speedwaynyheter.se/2015/05/19/pedersen-segerorganisator-i-gislaved/
  11. Live streaming again tonight (Thursday) at MalmöTV. http://www.malmotv.se/live-sections/live/index.1.html 19.00 Swedish time / 6pm UK time.
  12. 39 years ago today. https://twitter.com/SBLretro/status/600992122926424065 Tommy is gone but Tommy's brother and Tommy's nephew are still very involved with Smederna. Bosse is managing the kids/youth including the speedway school. Bosses's son Jimmy is the team manager and sports director for Smederna's Elitserien team. Jimmy to the right with his companion Stefan Jarl to the left. http://www.racemagazine.se/speedway/smederna-och-elit-vetlanda-till-semifinal/
  13. According to Swedish commentators, Nicki managed to get to the tape with 2 seconds to spare.
  14. I don't know, 3-4 years ago or something like that but sure I agree with your point. However how many of the current and past GP-riders have tried to qualify and how many have been seeded into their first SGP season without bothering about qualifications? Darcy Ward? Chris Holder? Emil S? Chris Harris? Andreas Jonsson? Freddie Lindgren?
  15. It is just rumours but I think Laguta declined to ride in the SGP.
  16. Rospiggarna-Smederna is off. First bend then it's follow the leader.... quite boring. The only really good heat so far was heat 3 and the fight between Nicki and Kildemand. Bad call, Aspgren laid it down before it was even close.
  17. Then why write a post complaining about and thus keeping it at the top?
  18. Ok I might have misheard the commentators at Cmore who said that Indianerna meeting would be delayed.
  19. It has rained allot today and the other two meetings are heavily delayed because of rain.
  20. GC, yes it was from an interview with Darcy and Darcy himself said that they have appealed but only the part with the points if I understood the article correctly.
  21. GC see this quote: http://www.corren.se/sport/motorsport/nu-talar-stjarnan-ut-om-svara-tiden-8022271.aspx It is regarding to that his points will be wiped from that meeting he rode. Again he again blames FIM for the delay, saying that they have done things right and that he doubts that some of things have happened. Then the quoted parts says
  22. FIM press release: http://www.fim-live.com/en/article/draw-and-squad-for-world-cup/
  23. GC, as I have said before, Darcy have appealed that part about his results being wiped so perhaps SCB is waiting for that? Not that I think that Darcy will be successful with the appeal though.
  24. Darcy's Swedish team manager have several times made statements to the local press complaining about FIM (for delaying the matter) and Svemo (for following their own rules). A few weeks ago he complained that Darcy's average would be re-calculated since Darcy's scores from the Elitserien meeting he rode between the Latvian GP and when he got provisionally suspended. Darcy at the time had the right to be in that meeting but that also meant that if he were convicted the Darcy's score would be wiped in that meeting according to the rules. Now Stefan Andersson complains about that because that means that Darcy's average will be slightly higher which mean that lineup Stefan Andersson had intended to use no longer fit under the average cap. As we say in Sweden "long nose" Stefan. So Andersson is trying to blame someone else for his own mistakes. Anyway perhaps we can Middlo, Ford and Ando to Hollywood, they'd make a perfect cast for a re-boot of "Grumpy old men".
