  1. Preliminary lineups Elitserien round 10, 2015-07-21/28 Rospiggarna - Ikaros Smederna Rospiggarna Andreas Jonsson Mads Korneliussen Timo Lahti Grzegorz Zengota Martin Vaculik John Lindman Andzejs Lebedevs Ikaros Smederna Magnus Zetterström Pawel Przedpelski Mikkel Michelsen Przemyslaw Pawlicki Grigorij Laguta Peter Karlsson Linus Eklöf Lejonen - Piraterna Lejonen Tobiasz Musielak Linus Sundström Peter Kildemand Pontus Aspgren Rafal Okoniewski Oliver Berntzon Kacper Gomolski Piraterna Chris Holder Daniel Davidsson Greg Hancock Darcy Ward Piotr Pawlicki Victor Palovaara Fredrik Engman ---------------------------- Piraterna vs. Indianerna belongs to last weeks rounds so I use the same thread. The other meeting between Dackarna and Vetlanda is a previously postponed meeting from round 7. Cmore will show the meeting from Motala although the weather forecast shows rain all day more or less even if it is not expected to be that intense. Meeting will also be live on ESP 2 in both UK and in continental Europe. Piraterna - Indianerna Piraterna Darcy Ward Greg Hancock (K) Chris Holder Daniel Davidsson Piotr Pawlicki Victor Palovaara Fredrik Engman Indianerna Antonio Lindbäck Mikkel Bech Piotr Protasiewicz R/R (all rider are eligible for RR heats) Fredrik Lindgren Niels-Kristian Iversen Joel Andersson Scott Nicholls Artem have asked not to ride this meeting due to a scheduling conflict with his Russian team which have a meeting in eastern Russia on Thursday so he is not able to do both meetings. Scott Nicholls will therefore get a chance to prove his value. I think the Motala track could suite him since it's quite short and tight, similar to some British tracks. It has been rumoured that Pawlicki wouldn't ride but I have not seen anything that confirms this. Dackarna - Elit Vetlanda Dackarna 1. Nicki Pedersen (K) 2. Mikael Max 3. Hans Andersen 4. Michael Jepsen Jensen 5. Joonas Kylmäkorpi 6. Jason Doyle 7. Robin Aspegren Elit Vetlanda 1. Tai Woffinden (K) 2. Rune Holta 3. Emil Sayfutdinov 4. Tomas Jonasson 5. Bartosz Zmarzlik 6. Kenny Wennerstam 7. Peter Ljung Notably since Holta entered the team, Jacob Thorssell have been left outside every time. Not a very nice way to thread on Sweden's younger up and coming riders. All meetings starts at 19.00 CEST / 18.00 BST: Live results at: http://www.svemo.se/Speedway (result pages will be blank until maybe 10-20 min before start of the meetings) Blank race card: http://www.mediafire.com/view/hq5xgd1bg2gz5z4/Blank_Heat_schedule_ES.AS.pdf Possible stream here; http://www.vipleague.me/motorsports/317388/1/speedway---swedish-elitserien-speedway-live-stream-online.html
  2. It's not rewarding bad behaviour but at the same time it's like saying don't worry you'll get a wild card if you screw up and misses out on top 8. It's the same kind of "kissing up" to him that we've seen of his entire career so far. Apologist saying "it was just a mistake" or "he's just a kid" and etc. I don't think that kind of "support" will do him any good, I think that if he have to work for it, rather then it being handed to him on a silver plate, he might actually value it more and thus be less prone to screw up (or maybe not). Then if he is such a good rider (which he is), surely he will not have any problems qualifying via the GP-qualifiers?
  3. Mikkel Michelsen is the wild card. https://instagram.com/p/5WwxCSwtSg/
  4. Andreas Jonsson is also like this. He is champion of sabotaging for himself by always changing the setups even if it was already working.
  5. Not good. We really don't want speedway (or motorsport in general) to get the same hooliganism as football have. That is something that is great with motorsport that there is normally a big tolerance towards fans of other teams/drivers/riders. Obviously speedway is a very small sport but I have been to the Swedish rally many times and on a few occasions I have stood at Colin's crest with 10'000 other and everybody gets along just fine.
  6. Masarna have announced that if they win the Allsvenskan final, they will accept the promotion offer that comes with the win. http://www.speedwaynyheter.se/2015/07/20/masarna-tackar-ja-till-elitserien-vid-avancemang/ http://avestatidning.com/sport/1.3070197-speedway-visst-ska-vi-ga-upp
  7. Apparently this was much worse then what Nicki have done since Kildemand was presented a yellow card.
  8. I expect a statement from Greg where he vocally condems Kildemand, or perhaps it's only a problem if it is Nicki and not a teammate?
  9. Second straight heat where Laguta chooses the wrong line and gets passed.
  10. This is what the track in Gnieszo looks like: https://instagram.com/p/5UvuBFwtdX/
  11. I disagree, it was quite wet already in the final couple of heats, then you have the gate pick and etc so after that it was way to wet to continue anyway. Imo they took the right decision to stop after heat 20. It wouldn't have been fair to continue. Better to call it off then to have 3 very wet heats just for the sake of it.
  12. The most sensible would be to call it off but they'll likely go ahead anyway.
  13. I don't know if there will be any broadcast for next weeks round. Originally there were not supposed to be any meetings next week but due to the very rainy season there will be two meetings next week. Lejonen-Piraterna and Rospiggarna-Smederna. However these are not listed on Cmore's tv-schedule so likely they will only be showed online.
  14. Dawkins20, Laguta's Swedish average is 1.643 at the moment, it was 1.870 at the start of this season. That makes him 21st in Sweden at the moment. http://ta.svemo.se/Public/Pages/TeamSections.aspx?TeamId=38 http://www.svemo.se/sv/Grenar/Speedway/Elitserien2015/Rankinglista/
  15. Grigorij was injured twice last season. He sustained a foot injury prior to the season and then about halfway through the season he broke the same foot again. It wasn't a crash though but rather he got his foot somehow stuck between the ground and the footrest. As far as his love life is going, he is married and have two kids. Also I disagree about him being a gating tart, he is usually a very poor gater but is very good at finding lines to pass other riders however that requires a track with more then one line which is why his results is usually very poor at tracks where gating is everything.
  16. The good news is that John Lindman is not injured. He was checked up at the hospital and it was established that he had escaped unharmed.
