  2. I too think it will be close but It's hard to predict. Imo Dackarna have over performed a little this season while Smederna haven't reached their full potential yet. If all 7 riders in Smederna "gets it right" I think Smederna will win. with 4-6p. Apparently Peter Kildemand will not ride for Lejonen tonight.
  3. The situation between Greg and Nicki where Greg attacked Nicki will be dealt with tomorrow. http://www.fyens.dk/sport/Nicki-P-og-Hancock-til-hoering-efter-overfald/artikel/2762366 It will be a hearing and Svemo will then decide if Greg will be punished further then the 5000SEK fine he already have received.
  4. He failed a drug test. He will likely be suspended for 2-4 years. http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=78813&page=94&do=findComment&comment=2655929
  5. Also note the former 1st reserve Kim Nilsson have been moved up into the meeting because of Loktaev's suspension. That also mean that Kevin Woelbert is now 1st reserve and Martin Vaculik is the new second reserve. I think top 5 will be Lindbäck, Zmarzlik, Kildemand and Pawlickis but in which order?
  6. Preliminary lineups for round 12. Ikaros Smederna - Dackarna Ikaros Smederna Przemyslaw Pawlicki Magnus Zetterström Kenni Larsen Mikkel Michelsen Grigorij Laguta Linus Eklöf Peter Karlsson Dackarna Hans Andersen Michael Jepsen Jensen Nicki Pedersen Mikael Max Joonas Kylmäkorpi Robin Aspegren Jason Doyle Smederna's last home meeting for the season. Quite possible also the penultimate Elitserien meeting in Peter Karlsson's career since I think he will retire after this season. He was ambivalent already after the last season and since he haven been struggling this season. Perhaps an indication that he already have made up his mind to retire once this season is over? As for the meeting itself, it's very strange to see both Jason Doyle and Peter Karlsson riding as reserves. Obviously a big advantage for Dackarna to have JD at reserve. Hopefully PK will be able to match that. Also note that there are 6 swedes and 4 Danes in this meeting. Elit Vetlanda - Rospiggarna Elit Vetlanda Tai Woffinden Rune Holta Emil Sayfutdinov Tomas H Jonasson Bartosz Zmarzlik Peter Ljung Kenny Wennerstam Rospiggarna Andreas Jonsson Timo Lahti Grzegorz Walasek Andzejs Lebedevs Martin Vaculik Mads Korneliussen Kim Nilsson Should be a comfortable win for Vetlanda, Rospiggarna haven't been particular good this season except against Smederna. Piraterna - Lejonen Piraterna Darcy Ward Greg Hancock Chris Holder Daniel Davidsson Piotr Pawlicki Victor Palovaara Fredrik Engman Lejonen Linus Sundström Tobiasz Musielak Peter Kildemand R/R? Pontus Aspgren Rafal Okoniewski Oliver Berntzon Mathias Thörnblom Question is not who will win but rather how big Piraterna's will be. All meetings starts at 19.00 CEST / 18.00 BST: Live results at: http://www.svemo.se/Speedway (result pages will be blank until maybe 10-20 min before start of the meetings) Blank race card: http://www.mediafire.com/view/hq5xgd1bg2gz5z4/Blank_Heat_schedule_ES.AS.pdf Smederna - Dackarna is the televised meeting. Will be live on ESP 2 at 19.00 Swedish time. Possible stream here: http://www.vipleague.me/motorsports/321130/1/swedish-elitserien-speedway-live-stream-online.html
  7. That article is not correct or at least doubtful since Smederna less then a year ago declared a profit for 2013 and 2014 combined at some 200'000 SEK. Also the salary cap mentioned in the article was scrapped several years ago since it was meaningless due riders being paid via the sponsors instead.
  8. The Dackarna-Elit Vetlanda meeting have an attendance of 6200 people. http://ta.svemo.se/Public/Pages/Competition/DrivingSchedule/CompetitionLiveResult.aspx?Branch=Speedway&Columns=CompetitionInfo,Branch,Name,Arena,Organizer,FromDateShort&Datefilter=Today&pagesize=10&CompetitionId=4650
  9. For the individueal Swedish championship, for a rider to be eligible he/she have to be a Swedish citizen and he/She also have to have a valid Swedish license. Rule 10.12.2 : http://multi.mediapaper.nu/Pdf/?PubId=DD68E34B36A2C71B3560BAEA4565AD03 I agree that both Lambert's and Jensen's cases need to be investigated further. However at least in Jensen's case no one seems to be interested in digging further.
  10. So, it's hardly the first time that the track have looked good before practice. Imo since everybody knows that the track usually look quite different during the race compared to the practice. Perhaps it would be a better idea to test the track after the practice but before pots-practice track grading to get a more true/balanced view of what the track is like. Most tracks will look good before practice but it's not until the tracks have been used that you can tell if they will hold up or not.
  11. Aces, Tai was lucky in the semi when he was in 3rd place when Holder fell. Zagar and Janowski was well ahead and I don't think Tai would have managed to catch them.
  12. Will be a nice week as I am attending two meetings, Smederna - Dackarna and then SEC at Sannahed on Saturday.
  13. Emil to blame there. He was wide and hit Laguta who floated out and Zengi ran out space.
  14. Well it is a well known fact that referees will exclude Nicki simply because it's him no matter what the situation was.
  15. Wasn't that what he said about Horsens as well?
  16. C'mon, it's obvious that ZG protested just to buy some time for Darcy to get to the track. You don't need to understand Polish to figure that out.
  17. So have Darcy arrived? Read that his flight had to return to the departure airport due to bad weather.
  18. He had a crash in Leszno last Sunday so perhaps that is still affecting him.
  19. Probably one of the most undeserved victories in a looong time. He should not have been in the semi finals if the referee had done his job.
  20. Kildemand should have been excluded for that which was obvious after watching the replay.
