Don't understand why and when he became a Poole Asset
-
I wouldn't have had Harris in the first place
-
I think Somerset should keep the services of Charles, who has been superb for them this year, Josh who has been a reliable scorer and a great Skipper, and definately Richard Lawson, who should be one of the first on the list.

Ipswich V Sheffield Po Final 2nd Leg 30-9-17
Buttons replied to Super Blue's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Strikes me Kyle Newman seems to be getting involved in too many crashes, surely it cant be everyone else fault, can it? -
Fans want to see their own team of riders, ok injuries can't be helped but how can supporters get behind their TEAM with all these guests, its an absolutely ludicrous situation, if what Buster Chapman says happens no R/R there will be even more, surely six man teams and one league is the way to go. So sad to see our sport down and virtually out. Why cant clubs work together instead of for themselves for the good of the sport, and what the supporter wants or thinks is at the bottom of the agenda, and I have to say many supporters on here come up with some good ideas, but will they listen NO, promoters need to at least listen to your paying customers and try to accommodate them to a degree, after all some of the rules that have come out of many AGM's over the years haven't been much good. The rule book needs to be thrown away and go back to basics,it is a simple sport, four riders, four laps, why do the rules have to be so intricate, I think we all know why!

How Many Of Us Are Losing Interest.?
Buttons replied to Sidney the robin's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
The last few has seen Speedway become too expensive, at best speedway is a £10-£12 sport, which proves the point when promotions drop the price when TV cameras are in town. It seems soon as crowds fall, the promotions only answer is to put the price up! The presentation at MOST tracks, not all, is non existent, nothing being said by the announcers when delay for two rides on the trot etc, and very little enthusiasm when they do, Helmets being put on before the teams have been introduced to the crowd. Some riders not wanting to interact with fans, ie celebrating a win, surely this all part of what Speedway use to be, and still should be. Long delays between heats, and worst of all you hardly ever see the full team of riders that were signed at the beginning of the season, due to all the doubling up. -
No Aussies In British Speedway 2018
Buttons replied to rocketman77's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Because Poland etc only want the top guys, it's the British clubs who bring them over and help them learn their trade in the PL and as soon as they get to the top in the British Leagues, that when Poland etc are interested -
What an absolute shambles. and they wonder why fans are walking away

Rye House V Somerset 23/8/2017

I dont think Hougaard missing will make a great deal of difference, but Allen missing will, shame he got injured at a crucial time for the Rebels. -
Have to say been disapointed with Hougaard, and a few more points from Lawson would have made the difference last night.

I think all this doubling up is getting a joke, I hope those at the top do something about it for next year or the crowds will be worse. -

Dangerous Machines Or Dangerous Tracks.
Buttons replied to Star Lady's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
There have been moans and groans for ages about riders coming off and state of tracks etc, the trouble is the tracks are the same as they were in the 60's (well most of them) but the bikes are not. Surely when this started to happen why didn't the powers that be do something about it ie, tell riders in two or three years the bikes were going to change, to give riders a chance to organise everything. -

Somerset V Belle Vue. 4.8.17.
Buttons replied to Cliffeboy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Don't think you will have a problem with Bellego as a guest !! -
Injured in Poland I believe.
-
A former GP rider riding at reserve you couldn't make it up, the rules are stupid for allowing it.
-
With the crowds British Speedway get at present who is going to pay for the top guys. It would be great to have the top boys riding for each club but I don't think it's feasible
-
Absolute chaos no wonder fans are walking away, I for one have found other things to do. Nothing will be done no one takes any notice of the supporters unfortunately, or our sport would not be in the state it is.

Charles Wright seems to be having one crash after the another . -
Could have something to do with the last meeting Somerset had was a Sidecar meeting, notorious for not doing tracks any favours.
