WHAT AN ABSOLUTE FARCE WITH ALL THESE GUESTS, BRITISH sPEEDWAY IS ABSOLUTE RUBBISH -
Lakeside Vs Poole 1st Sept (sky Meeting)
Buttons replied to SCB's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
An absolute farce, how can you have a race result when for the last few heats the teams aren't racing !! British Speedway has long beeen on a downward spiral with idiotic rules, tracks that are not fit for racing (like tonight, after the downpour), and the BSPA are doing nothing about it, they sit in their ivory towers and make up stupid rules that don't work and have been for years, and our sport is now a total shambles.. -
Somerset Rebels V Peterbourgh Panthers 29/ 8/ 14

Many true fans no longer read or post on the BSF, because it has been ruined by people like you who post such drivel, it's down to fans if they want to start threads and not up to you to chastise them for not doing so, and there is certainly no lack of enthusiasum at Somerset from what I saw last week. -
Why, after British Speedway helped him at the start his career, but all Darcy has done is throw it back in Poole, the fans and Ford's face even after all the chances he has had, so by your post I take it that's the sort of actions you support of a PROFESSIONAL rider.
-
If I remember Ford said that this was Darcy's last chance the last time he was in trouble, he should have had the guts to do as he said he would and sack him, perhaps then Darcy would learn his lesson.

Peterborough V Somerset 24/08/2014 @ 5pm Pl

Injuries are always a diifficult as it gets towards the business end of the season, with Brady Kurtz missing the Rebs are bound to find it tough, but what I like about this team they always put up a fight, so I expect to see no less tonight. -
Just can't understand why the Promoters can't see whats infront of their faces, fans will not spend their hard earned money to follow their team with half of them missing, and then they go on to complain their gates are down

Poole Vs Leicester 20/08/2014
Buttons replied to Tom Turner's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Pigs might fly, no chance of Poole doing that it's a disgrace him still being allowed to ride, didn't Matt Ford say "one more mistake and your out " to Ward the last time he got in hot water, lookslike nothing happening there either. I wonder what would have happened if it had been a rider who is not such box office, I think we all know the answer to that one. -
I can see it now, Ward will get banned for 6 months from November after the seasons finished, and back in time for the start of the season, I do hope I'm wrong as he certainly needs punishing for what he has done. Time will tell
-
Cannot believe this guy he is such a talent, but how much more trouble is he going to get into, the others problems are well documented so I won't go into them again, but now he has failed an alcohol test. Whatever was he thinking, whatever bad news he has recieved there is no excuse whatsoever for drinking too much the night before your riding in a match or a GP, if the news was as bad as he says and he felt he needed a drink maybe he should have pulled out of the GP!! The authorities must not push this under the carpet, whatever pressure if any maybe put on them as no doubt Darcy is a crowd puller, our sport needs to have some credibility.

Bandits V Rebels Sat 16/8/14

I thought Somerset had a good chance to take all 4 points with Berwick having half their team missing -
Anyone know what time this meeting is likely to start as nothing on the BSPA site, I really wish they would give all the info as fans need to make arrangments
-
This person is so much a wind up merchant, I just wish he stay on the Poole thread and leave Somersets alone, we don't want all that aggro they get and he/she along with another well known Poole fan just wind other fans up with their sarcastic comments You can't expect Starman to understand that !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Somerset should definately have the choice of 1st or 2nd leg in the P/O final if they get through, really can't see the why Edinburgh can't hold the meeting on their off race night Saturday, surely the idea is to get these matches done and dusted before the snow comes !!
-
Lets hope they do, Somerset would be silly to let them go

Poole V Birmingham 1st Leg Grand Final
Buttons replied to pirateandi's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Typical remark from a Poole haters, Dyer was missing from the Newcastle v Redcar match yesterday as well, ohhhhhhh perhaps Redcar are cheating too !!!!!!!!! -
A great bit of sportsmanship by Kozza Smith last night who came out to the pit gate to shake hands with all the Rebels after their win, was good to see.
-
No I'm not, but I don't have to be related to him to agree about your inane drivel you spout on hear about Somerset, as I said before stay on the Poole thread.
-
Couldn't agree more, but we all know Starman don't we "brains & dangerous" spring to mind, same every season he thinks these riders are machines, they are not allowed an off night, just wish he would stay on the Poole thread and we wouldn't have to put up with his drivel.

Something I wondered how the riders and ref didn't get together and call the track unfit before it even started, but there you go. After watching last nights Elite meeting Birmingham v Poole on TV that track was causing all sorts of problems too, but as usual a few on here cannot wait to get in on the action and have a go although many of them were not even at the meeting !, when will people realise these things do happen even though they shouldn't, and although unfortunate and expensive for visiting supporters, in my humble opinion after the Ref had call it off and the trackman had done a little more work on the track it was raceable.
