Well I made it to Sheffield, as they said in the Grove I never go away to away matches, unfortunately I have a business, and work 6 day weeks (7 days at Xmas). So I cant ask my boss for time off, nor am I a student or un-employed. I must say I really enjoyed the day,I would have liked to meet some of you fellow posters, Sarah, you should have practised your P.R. skills and brought people to meet me, I suppose I could have a t. shirt made, but when will I be able to escape again.
Anyway, 'TEAM RYMEL' were over the moon with Adrians performance, obviously we would have liked a win, but he did us proud non the less, he has proved to be a worthy contender, perhaps if he had not gone for gate 4 in the final it would have been a different conclusion. Mind Peter Waite said there were only 2 gates all day 1 & 4, I thought at the time what planet is he on, 8 wins from gate 1, 7 wins from gate 2, 4 wins from gate 3 and only 1 win from fate 4. The track was slick with no grip on the 1st bend, so Adrian obviously saw something the rest of us didnt, he did not workand that is that.
A special mention for Woofinden a class act and one for the very near future, Nieminen was worthy what an improvement this season, also Doyle & Bunyon and of course our very own Mr Rymel.
The only downside to the meeting wasth young guysanding by us shouting 'come on Ben' in a very high pitched girlie voice, I coudn't get to sleep with 'COME ON BEN', a thing of nightmares.
