To be honest the Jed Rathbone rumour is only one of 4 rumours that are circulating consistantly -

If you had to put a value on Dennis, you would not be able to afford him. -

I do hope whoever takes over, they keep Scott on board, alongside Dennis Mcleary, anyone else can be replaced. I don't always agree with Scott, but he is open to someone else's opinion. -

In this case it seems to be a rumour from all parts of the speedway world, I really don't know if it is true or not. A new approach would be welcome, it's why I do support Scott Courtneys approach, however, he can only work within the constraints placed upon him. -

My recollection was the jesture was at the referee, not the fans. I thought at the time careful Claus you gonna get a fine. -

Promise you this, if it is Rathbone, it's because he's taking P/Boro back into the E.L. and Berwick will be used as his PL club for bringing on his assets. Apart from Berwick assets, which he would acquire in the deal, don'y expect any of the riders that are not assets. -

While Czech, all I have heard is the name Jed Rathbone. Oxford fans, Eastbourne fans, Wolverhampton fans,Poole fans,Kings Lynne fans,etc.etc. etc. True or not true, Jed Rathbone is on the UK speedway circuit as the next owner of the Bandits. They all used the signing of Tom Perry as a sign. -

Well it's the start, yet again, of a long winter, or not, as to are we running or not. Perhaps someone will come on board with an acceptable offer sooner than later, allowing them at an early stage to re-galvanise everybody involved with the club, supporters club, volunteers and fans.

Thats not a rumour, I heard direct from Shergar

They should, it's whats been lacking since Dave Peat, in both cases they could only work with what they were allowed. Must be frustrating to be limited in your ability, but one has to work within a budget.

Absolutely agree with that, yes he made a few mistakes, but learnt by them.

So many rumours, don't know which one to believe next. One even reckons I will be the next promoter, running it for a money man. How the hell can you enjoy speedway if you are running it, too old and too careful with my money

Dennis was a regular till a few seasons ago, for what ever reason he stopped coming. Darren may have been a fan , don,t recall him as a regular, and he didn't give me that impression when talking to him. Spent half of one meeting explaining the rules to Darren and Michael

They certainly took to speedway in a big way, and seem to enjoy the experience. Were a breath of fresh air, bringing a bit of fun back into speedway. Of the three Dennis Hush used to come to speedway, but lost interest in the last few years, got re-invigorated with Michael and Darren.
