The big difference is Nick Morris, the 1st half of the season the track was poor, when Nick Morris joined massive improvement. After Nick departed, track went back to being poor again in 2018. Sad thing is it shows it can be done with guidance, perhaps the guidance is not there -

You can 'Fanny' around with the price as much as you want, price has a factor, yes, but the main reason for the lack of attendance is the product itself. When die hard's are leaving in their droves, you cannot continue to say the fans are wrong, time to listen to their opinions. -

In my book, some entertainment would be an improvement. -
Fallen out of love with a poor product, but will continue to support the local lad, in the hope he achieves his dreams. In your head it will make no sense that I support Berwick Rangers and Berwick Rugby Club, but I don't go. Or are you saying I should not sponsor Leon, if I don't attend speedway. If that is the case tough titty, I am proud of what he has achieved

No George, don't think we do as much prep as that -
Not really, there have been changes but not to the degree of making a fundamental difference, a speedway machine is 90% the same as it was in 2010. They are using lighter materials like titanium for a very small improvement, exhausts were the main change that effected power. I would accept the difference between an upright and a lay down is very different. On your comment 'Dont go then', I for one don't, at least this season anyway, so comments like that don't help your case, that is exactly the problem PEOPLE HAVE STOPPED GOING. Remember I have more reason to go than the average fan mainly to do with Leon

Have to disagree on the shape of the track, as it has been that shape for most of Berwicks history. Prior to 2010 the racing was pretty good, on a track that was not always spot on, a lot of passing around the boards, the way the track is prepped in recent years has led to a gate and go track with one racing line. Tedious to the extreme, hence my none attendance, poor entertainment for £17.

Sadly that is how the track has been prepared most of the time, slick on the inside knee deep against the fence, one racing line around the middle. If you are first out of the gate stay in the middle, race won. In short Berwick track at heat 1 is the same as most tracks after heat 15 -

At least try and be civil, if you cannot insult cleanly, please don't bother -

You sure they can do maths -
Many sponsors get free admittance because they put much larger amounts into the club, most are not freeloaders. The only thing I would question is allowing them to remain in the pits area while the meeting is in progress. If they are allowed in for free they should be made to watch from the stand area, this would eliminate the suspicion they were freeloading, as people like yourself would not be able to identify them.
