  1. No7 a UK rider, anywhere between a 2.00 ave and 3.99 ave. A 2 pointer is 2.00 to 2.99 and a 3 pointer is 3.00 to 3.99
  2. Total access Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Sunday unless there is a footy game on. Access is allowed on Saturday up until 12 noon, as long as they don't render the track area unusable for the football.
  3. My hope now lies in sorting out the track, Berwick used to have a very fast race track with a fear factor, 'FORTRESS SHIELFIELD'.rideres dreaded the place from visiting teams. A big racers circuit, that has generated into a 'GATE & GO TRACK'. In the last 8 seasons we have seen flashes of how it could be, just using the 'Under 21 Championship event' as an example, some of the best racing I have seen at Shielfield, followed the following week with one of the worst prepared track in a long time, how a track can go from brilliant to bust in a week havn't got a clue. It is my hope that the new management with their knowledge of speedway can deliver on a great track, possibly the best.
  4. Liam's progress had a lot to do with Kev as mentor to him, helped by a keenness in wanting to improve, he listened and he learned. Next season will show whether it paid off. Bridger is a rider who will either be brilliant or not, I have a feeling the former, I am hoping he has something to prove, always believed in Dimitri, we should have signed him when we had the chance, however the youngster is out of him now, and that might be to our benefit, hoping Vissing is the one we had first time around last season he seemed to lack something, again this guy has something to prove. Any one of these could be a No1
  5. I think our new management have looked outside the box a little, looked for riders who have potential to improve, backed up by riders who will reliably do their job like Kev . There have been comments about running Liam at No2, but most of his more serious opposition from No 7 last season will; be riding at No2 as well. Like I said earlier Chessell will be our real weakness, but lots of other clubs will have to run with a Chessell, he might surprise everyone though.
  6. I for one do not have a problem with your opinion or anyone else's, I do however have a beef when posters start slagging each other off, keep it tidy and discuss is all that is needed. You often find when you meet an offensive poster, in real life they are really nice people, forums seem to bring out the worst in people, perhaps it's the anonymityof it.
  7. You lot are putting Berwick in the shade for cattiness, meooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
  8. The important thing, if there are doubters, in general, they are not from the Berwick or surrounding areas
  9. I see Berwicks team as a 'Team in Depth', the club has only competed when it has had a team in depth, rarely with an out and out No1. Also with a new management they need more than ever to work within their means, under these cicumstances, they have put together a team that has the potential to give many teams a run for their money, but without putting the club into financial difficulties in their first season. I think they have taken a very pragmatic look at Berwicks future, and built a team accordingly. I might add, how can Berwick be compared to other teams, until those teams have announced their rider line up's
  10. TOTALLY out of order there. Argue constructively, no need to be rude, the guy had an opinion, if you don't feel it is valid, then argue your point.
  11. I am happy with the team, 3 potential No1 and good back up, weakness probably Chessell, but most teams will have the same weakness, would have prefered a young UK rider to bring on at No7, can't have everything. Get the track back to a racers track, away from the garbage we have suffered, and I see a good season for the Bandits
  12. No Kus to fight with, but I think Vissing went backwards this season, cannot see the improvement we need
  13. Never have, George is a promoter I have great admiration for. As for George managing his 'MAM' , no chance, she would clip him around the ears. Think Garrity would try his patience,
  14. Its not his riding in doubt, he is talented, but I still would not want the responsibility of him
  15. Not much chance for his 'Face Fitness', just by following his Facebook page he has been working hard on his fitness, and like you I believe he could increase his average
  16. Apart from that, you would want the responsibility and the cost
  17. My info only, too many to list, and not on an open forum
  18. Tero has not retired, the operation he had to undertake was the result of virus that affected his knee joints. Although not a heat leader has the capability of being one
  19. TJ is a rider I would not let slip through the net, you lot look after him the same way as you did with Adrian Rymel, he could achieve a genuine No1 position next season. GUTTED
