  1. Perhaps they will be looking to establish a new track in Tenerife, plenty of volcanic shale available
  2. The question is who the he*l is, it's the same names in the frame going around in circles, the new bad decisions on officers are the same old bad decisions on the same old names. They are the problem, the only difference is which clowns are you going to vote for this time
  3. Isn't that what any business would do, I wonder if any promoter would run their own business in the way speedway is run. Comes down to better organisation Dave
  4. I do hope you lot survive, wouldn't be the same, not taking the Mick out of The Comics, sorry banter. On top of that what the h*ll would Jenga have to moan about
  5. Would be great if he was, but my gut feeling tells me not.
  6. Never seen so many old dinosaurs in one place, with a few youngsters thrown in. I am absolutely delighted however for LEON FLINT, along side his Dad and his Grandad, Big Tony has been a stalwart in his success so far. I am privileged to sponsor this young rider, who is one of the most appreciative riders I have dealt with in the time I have been sponsoring, and am so pleased my small help has helped him get there. In the very near future I will be small fry in his sponsorship, but i can proudly say I was there when he started in speedway, when he needed it most. GET IN THERE TEAM FLINT TAFFYS TIME MACHINE
  7. A really well done, and really well deserved to Leon Flint. For someone so young, he is very level headed, and knows what he wants from speedway. It is an honour to sponsor this young lad. who beyond any doubt is one of the most appreciative riders that I have dealt with. As for the future, National League first, at 15 he is allowed to ride at that level from February, a good year there honing his skills even more. After that it's up to Leon where he wants to step up to, he will know, I really hope pressure is not placed on him to ride for his home town club, just because he is the local lad, it's not necessarily a good thing, it places too much pressure on a young rider. If Leon wants to ride for his home town club, it is entirely his decision, but what ever decision he makes, good times are coming for Leon in speedway. I have said to TEAM FLINT many times, it won't be long before my sponsorship will be small fry, but for now it is an honour, GET IN THERE FLINTY.
  8. Still gets grass in his tyres, end of the world
  9. Could not agree more, at Berwick we have had a guest at No7 for most of the season, a 2 point position should be easy to fill even if they are not brilliant
  10. And there was me thinking in a very calm and collective way, that I had found a new very lucrative way of raising money for THE BEN FUND.
  11. My suggestion to both of you, rent a roped off area, and bat the living daylights out of each other there. Might be able to sell tickets for The Ben Fund
  12. Sounds more like a reply has been dictated to you from the BSPA, have you become the spokes person for them. UK decisions made by UK clubs in the UK, should be a priority, not taking trade abroad, support the UK economy.
  13. Sorry Pal, the AGM is not a time to take a holiday, its to sort the BL**dy mess out that they have got speedway into. That meeting should be held in the UK and not Tenerife. The reason for Tenerife is simply to have a jolly and a p*ss up, most decisions will have already been discussed, and the most they have to do is stick their hands into the air, or perhaps somewhere more appropriate.
  14. And so you should. The original shale was a very dark whinstone grit which I believe was grippy, Peter tried some red shale to see if it would drain more easily, didn't work, so it was blended in till it basically disappeared
  15. Aye ! Berwicks big mistake this year, all worries about him , shown to be true
  16. Thought we had solved this problem . Scantily dressed start tart with a flag, will take your mind off the real start tarts on the bike
