Everyone can get our citizenship through "naturtalisation"-you must take an exam in language,history.Second chance-our parliament can give you citizenship for merities(I'm not sure for this word ). Laguta was in parliament,spoke with deputies.They gave him 3 month to learn latvian.They simply don't understand,why they must give him latvian passport,because he lives in Russia,he was in latvian team only 2 years,he don't knows language.They also don't know nothing about speedway...there is a problem. I'm not sure,but in Vladivostok,where Grigory was last time can learn latvian...Now he is is back in Latvia...he knows 3-4 latvian words...what will deputies say now?I don't know. I don't want to comment this situation yet,because normal competent comments now can give only Ribnikov. Will wait some weeks...

About speedway know only in Daugavpils.In Riga or other towns and villages 99% people never heard about it. Mr. Ribnikov about ten years ago said,that TV for him isn't gainfully,because the fans will watch speedway on TV and the stadium will be uninhabited. So,at Daugavpils regional TV channel only in the news we can get some information about our club(and nothing about speedway in the rest world). In regional newspapers information is quite good and enough.But in state daily press only sometimes we can find last "Loko" results.But they work very unprofessional and make much mistakes(names,surnames). In sport magazines I never read about speedway. LTV(state television) shows two GP's before Latvian GP.In "Motoreview" they regulary show short plots with last results of "Loko",SGP,SWC.Can be some interviews.And it's all!

Maybe you remember,that sometimes in Daugavpils was very good rider Valeriy Sokolov.He established there a club,built a small track. Here you can find two photos from this track.There're a speedway shcool for juniors.There have trainings some guys from Viski and Daugavpils. Weather in Latvia now is is very bad-it snows and is very cold,so they don't have trainings now on a track.Maybe only at sport hall of Viski's college to keep good physical conditions. They don't have normal bikes,engines.Mr. Sokolov makes all himself...from old duplicates. They have only one sponsor-small organisation,which sells scrap-iron.They have no money,no stadium,no normal bikes,no good organization...and no future. Mr. Sokolov tells nothing about future of his "club".I know that one press agent from Daugavpils in autumn was in Viski and spoke with Sokolov,but I dion't red any information in the press yet.I don't know,how to understand it. Simply look at the photos....you'll understand all... And if you understand russian(I think you speak this language very well),I can explain you about Viski in one word-"sharashkina kontora"

My dear friends,remember,please,that Latvia isn't UK and in my country people are much more poor that in your country.In our country there're people that become only ~120 Euro in one month(it is minimal salary in Latvia).And also remember about inflation.In Latvia it is ~13-20% in the year... But,of course,not all are poor-~70% live good life.From them ~ 30% live very good.In our town we have 6 millionairs...or more...I don't know exactly. Overall situation is normal.But not all,not all can pay this small money for speedway!

For russian league matches we paid ~3-4 Euro. Now for 2nd polish league we pay ~3-6 Euro. For international races price is higher 4-8 Euro. One program costs ~0.7-1 Euro. Recently in interview our unofficial team meneger Mr. Ribnikov said, that in the next season all prices will be higher.

Russian teams are Mega-Lada (Togliatti) Neftianik (Oktiabrsky) Earlier name of this team was Lukoil,but now they lost this sponsor Vostok (Vladivostok) SK Turbina (Balakovo) STMK Turbina(Balakovo) Salavatneftemash (Salavat) SK Trofimov (Rivne,Ukraine)-this team in season 2007 started in russian league with name Uragan-this word in english means Hurricane.

About Poland I know!Very good stadiums,very big interest to speedway in all country,good fans(but sometimes very agressive in comparison with my town)!You have also TV live broadcasts! In Sweden and GB fans also can look the races at home on TV.Maybe it is a problem!The fans don't come to the stadiums because they can see speedway on TV... Fans from GB and Sweden,what ir real reason?I want to know!

In Russia they have also very good speedway forum where you can write also in english-many fans from Latvia,Ukraine,Russia understand english.There you can find on-lines and other interesting information.There're very responsive people and they will help you to understand,what is written,where you can find interesting information.

In Balakovo russian menagers of speedway teams decided that in next season in each team in the race can start 2 riders from other countries. I think,that it is good for russian speedway,because some russian riders want to get inadequate salary.They have very little competition...

Hello!I'm a fan from Latvia and I have one question for all forum members. Maybe you know,that team from Daugavpils(Latvia) in 90s took part in russian champ,in last 3 years our team was in 2nd polish league.These championships,how do you understand,are not best in the world,but in each race day at the stadium were minimally 3000 people.In Russia,for example,in Balakovo,at the stadium usually come 9000-10000 fans. In this autumn my friend gave my some DVDs with races of english Elite league.And what I saw?200 fans,500 fans...I can't understand it.The same situation in Sweden,how I know! In your country it is one of three best leagues in whole world and so small interest from fans.Why? My question is WHY? Your oppinions,please! P.S.My english isn't very good and I'm sorry for possible mistakes!
