Just speculating that you may be right but the problem is we would be looking to replace Connor with Jake Knight who has a 'higher' average, meaning we would need to re-declare the team....I think.

The talk on here is as if Kelsey and Connor are going. Is this still speculation or are people hearing rumours? Gotta say I would much rather see it work out for both of them than see them go but must admit, the thought of getting Jake Night in excites me. He should ave signed this year. I was gutted when he didn't. He is an extremely exciting rider and does not know when to give in....sometimes to his detriment!

Not sure what can be expected with the amount of falls and tape exclusions, all of which in my mind add to an entertaining meeting. I barely even looked at the time as I found it extremely enjoyable and eventful. Just shows how different fans look at speedway I guess. Must admit, I would love to do away with the interval all together. That when I get bored but that's the same for any form of entertainment.

Because, people would moan like hell and print out their own score cards like every time the prices are put up. I was there much later than normal and was lucky enough to get the last programme! I must admit I was a little surprised that they had run out. I am not sure the amount printed is down to the club. Fineprint are a sponsor and I wonder if they print them free as a part of the sponsorship deal (thats just speculation btw). I was not aware that they run out nearly every week. If that is the case I wonder if they could at least print some score cards for when the programmes run out. That mainly what we need.

Still unsure about where the team is. Did well against Lakeside home and away but failed terribly against Mildenhall away. I worry about Baseby as I have not really seen anything to suggest he is going to be a good number 1 yet. If we do get him flying then we will be right up there but if not, I think we will struggle. I am going for a close fought home win. I think Cradley are the team to beat this year....dam Midlanders!!!

I am not sure that any of the above means that he would want 'anyone in his ear but them' There is a doubt over his attitude and they have voiced it, the same as they would anyone else. I would rather that than just feel he is always going to be in the team because of who he is.

I usually steer clear of reacting to comments like this and have done this one since I first viewed it but I keep coming back to this. Firstly, I am NOT in the know and dont have any ties within speedway hence why I rarely make comments about riders or anyone else within speedway but just look at the comment. You need ANYONE but those two in your ear. I have had a little involvement with Eastbourne over the last few years, through sponsorship of an Elite League rider and the National League plus I helped a little at the track and attended training sessions with my son and I found Martin incredibly helpful. He is one of the FIRST people I would want in my sons ear about riding speedway. I would imagine they are pretty hard on him as his father and brother but I also have the 'feeling' (I dont actually know) that Kelsey does not always like to listen. Something he has as good as admitted. So yeh, maybe there are some relationship issues but to make that statement seems a bit naff. But. Maybe you speak from experience and if you do, I take it all back.

I am inclined to agree with this. Its as likely as Martin lining up for us!! Surely Paul would not want to put himself through it anyway! Very keen to see who it is and hope that the 'surprise' is a good one. Martin and Connor have done good up to now and I do not see why that will change.

I have gotta say that if Eastbourne (my team) were in this league next year and had that team I would be very excited and I have been discussion with my lads going up to Rye House to support this team a few times this year. Who knows if this is a championship winning side? The fact is, its a team of British riders and Davey Watt (whom I really like) and I could really get behind them. It would be gret for Rye House to go and win it this year like Eastie did in 2000 with a (nearly all) British team. Good Luck for the season Rye House!!

Thats a bummer. Had him down as a dead cert. Gonna be a very different team next year now with all three heat leaders gone.

Does seem strange its not on there. Not on the BSPA site yet either and they usually report all new signings.

I have heard this comment a couple of times and perhaps he has let other teams down previously. Certainly for Eastbourne, this year he has been brilliant and I really can fault him. He was a very popular part of the team this season.

Yeh. I really like Nick but can't see him doing much either.
