I just hope he goes out there feeling no pressure. If he concentrates on doing 4 laps each time he goes out, he will do his job. I really believe he has a good future in speedway and I just hope he gets it right.

Strange that there is no mention of Kelsey's return! Maybe they want to keep it low key.

Unfortunately my Mum puts on a family party every year and this year she has it on Saturday, knowing I have speedway on Sundays. I have to get my priorities right I am afraid. So I will be at Arlington around 7.30pm! Thanks for clearing up the Kelsey thing. Hopefully he can make up a bit for the loss of Georgie.

All that says is what Kelsey's average is, it doesn't confirm he is back in the team surely. Also does not confirm about Georgie riding or not.

I am not sure what you are getting at. Maybe I have missed some of the story. Are they making noise at the track at 2am? If so then that needs to stop. No doubt. If they are not then my thoughts in my post still stand!

Just read the article. It is disgusting that two disgruntled idiots who did not think to go near a house they were buying during a match can do this. Disgusting that a stadium can have this happen to them when they have been there for years Disgusting that two people can ruin something for so many others. Something should be done about this, someone somewhere should see sense before yet another speedway track goes. I get so frustrated about stuff like this. My home town, Hastings, used to have a speedway track before 1 yes 1 person complained about noise. AGGHHHHH!!!

Thought I would start this up as its tomorrow and as much as anything, I cannot decide whether to go or not. Just traveled back 5 hours from holiday and not sure if i can do another 8 - 10 hours driving tomorrow......but will wish I had id Eastie win. Well ate least its off early. Nothing worse than driving to a match looking at the weather and trying to guess whats going to happen. Then getting there for it to be rained off and start the trek home. Fingers crossed for Buxton. Long trip for a rain off!

Fair play to Buster and co for getting the match on. As a neutral I really enjoyed it and I must say I love the spectacle of seeing speedway at a big race track. Cannot believe Stefan got up from that, it had broken collar bone or shoulder written all over it.

Ha ha, Hope the weather holds out. Been dry all week so far, I will be pretty peeved if the speedway night I have managed to sneak in to my holiday is rained off!

On holiday near Dereham so thought I may get a fix of speedway tonight. Be good to watch a match as a neutral rather than go through all the emotions of caring about who wins. Will cheer for the home team though....its only fair.

I wonder if they are regretting the name change to Lakeside now? Will it stay as that or go back to Arena Essex? I truly hope they find a stadium and would love them to come down to the NL. Its been great following Eastbourne at all the away matches this year. Not only are many local but the distant ones you can still go to as they are at weekends. Add Lakeside to the mix and that's another away match I can go to. Loving the NL this year and I am sure Hammer fans would as well.

Looking at what Birmingham have been doing away its a 4 point must win for me, as is Buxton will be next weekend. If we are going to win the league the all so close away matches have to go and the good wins need to replace them. I will be disappointed with anything less than a win by 7

Looking on Google maps I see there is a big field right in the middle of the stadium with some white lines and a dot in the middle (I think they play some sort of minority sport there). I think I may just pitch a tent on that! There are toilet facilities and everything.

Ah, but don't forget BWD was at number one so had harder rides. For me they are on a par with each other with BWD maybe just sneaking it but that could change. I am a biased Eastbourne fan but I honestly wish them both all the best. They are both exciting youngsters that race hard and don't give up.

Would be good to get them to Eastbourne on Saturday seeing as we have no meeting this weekend. Would give the new Eagles a spin at Arlo as well

Did anyone see the speedway on Sky last night? Match was rained off so they reviewed sky sports speedway since they stated filming in 1999. I nice little section on 2000 and Eastie winning the league against KL at Arlington. It was fantastic re-living that, Floppy, Deano, Petri Kokko etc Its has made me want Silverware more than ever for our boys this year and most importantly the NL title. And with this season, at least we can really feel that the Management want it as well. Makes you laugh when you think back to the' no stone left unturned' comments of the past. It now seems that we get an injured rider and the first stone that Conner/Martin turn over has a little gem underneath. One thing I do hope is that if we do win the title, EVERONE, that has pulled on a Eagles race suit this season, is there to enjoy it with us. David, Danny and whoever is on the side lines should be there and we need to remember its all of them that put in the effort, not just the 7 on the night. I also hope they are all at the end of season bash as well.

Gutted, that's all I can say. Part of the fun of this team this season has been what a bunch of fun likeable guys they all are. With David and Kelsey out and doubts over Richards fitness it seems the unit is breaking up. I just hope that we can keep the spirit up and the performances. I hope it is Kelsey knee and not him leaving due to being fed up with it. I thought he rode well yesterday and can become a great rider. We were only saying yesterday that it is amazing that Kelsey can fall so often without hurting himself. Now, it looks like he has. Best of luck to the original 4 and the replacements for the rest of the season. Come on Eastbourne!!

strange meeting at first, too many crashed and hold ups and so frustrating not knowing what was going on. Turned into a decent meeting in the end, worth the trip.

Any news on the weather up there?

Hope for a win but expect it to be close and go either way. Surely Mattie will be fit now/
