  1. Only downside was that is was one of our turns to have Chris Gay as referee. Hopefully it'll be the only time this year. Is this guy not the worst referee on the circuit or what?
  2. Where were you viewing from Glenny? I was in one of the home straight stands, actually the one in front of the tapes so in line with the incident, so I didn't really have a clear view of what happened. Anyone on the back straight would have had a better angle. It was all very tight from my view and I thought Magic was just in front of Doylie. Either Magic moved out and as you say clipped Jason, or did Jason try to go through a gap that wasn't there? I don't know. The whole thing wasn't helped by Dakota coming up the inside of both of them, so did that have any bearing on the 'coming together'?
  3. No Swedish speedway in Eurosports schedule for next Tuesday. Just an hour of highlights (!) last night. Anyone know what is planned going forward?
  4. You can only ride what's put in front of you Steve, and in that respect the Aces were unlucky not to get the win. Zagar's bike problem and a couple of borderline decisions by Dave Robinson that could have gone the other way. Too early for Poole to press the panic button though. Missing Magic big time, especially using Lawson as a guest. Just 10 points from Magic (compared to Lawson's 4) would have got us a 12 point win. Track was poor again with a yard of racing line around the fence. I understand that it was so rough that Kyle snapped a footrest in one race when hitting a rut (bump?). Chris Holders comments at the post match interview spoke (hinted) volumes. Anyway yet again I have to give congratulations to the visitors for a battling performance. Zagar with a classy pass in heat 15 to get the draw, and probably Craig Cook's best ever performance at Poole in the Elite League.
  5. Sun and blue Skies here in Branksome (about 3 miles away) at 3:40.
  6. Who will we use on Monday? Bank holiday and all bar Belle Vue (Monday track !?) and Swindon are riding, and the latter have their main men injured anyway. Can't see Zagar flying in for a guest booking, Nicholls average is too high. Looks like Craig Cook or Nick Morris. With Cook in town tonight that would save the cost of a 'phone call.
  7. Light rain, but light is the operative word, about 3 miles away.
  8. I'm about three miles from the track and it's not raining and hasn't been since I got up at 6:30. As posted on the Poole site my barometer is over on the 'Fair' side not 'Rain', although Radio Solent says more rain later. I'm feeling positive.
  9. Has the Speedway Star got the play off dates between the Elite League and the Allsvenskan League mixed up? They are opposite to what has been posted earlier on this thread.
  10. Looks like he's not quite there yet, but it does seem like the top guys are almost sorted. http://www.speedwaygp.com/news/article/3986/batch-closes-on-uk-visa
  11. What's causing the delay? It seems everyone knows the two riders. Maybe Magic is not happy with the thought that he might have to make way for Darcy in July and wants a full season? Think the majority of speedway fans would support him in that situation.
  12. According to averages on BSPA site Bjarne is 7.38. That leaves 6.66.
  13. Thursday 26th February 2015, 14:23 Moreover, the CDI ruled that the results obtained by Mr Ward in all the Competitions in which he participated subsequent to the positive test, from 17 August 2014 until 27 August 2014, are cancelled, with all resulting consequences, including forfeiture of any points and prizes. On 28 August 2014, the FIM provisionally suspended Mr Ward pending the CDI’s decision adjudicating on the merits of the case. Since then, Mr Ward has been provisionally barred from participating in any competition Bit contradictory there ??? All results in the 10 days 'PRIOR' to his suspension are cancelled ???
  14. Jack Holder is a 7. Had he been a 5 he'd have been at Somerset.
  15. Ah ! Just seen you've edited it and removed it. Wasn't my eyes ......................... see.
  16. Same question. Read it again and can see nothing about 20th.
  17. Where does it say 20th on that link? Don't tell me my eyes need testing again.
  18. Just asking (not stirring) but where do you get Stuart Robsons 4.63 from? His greensheet average at Newcastle last year was 7.56, which factored at 1.6 makes 4.73.
  19. Still no official statement from the BSPA. It would be nice to know the facts, and the riders affected. Lots of speculation and guesswork at present.
