  1. You might have to explain the word 'constructive' to him. It's got more than four letters.
  2. I'm in the Belle Vue must be favourites camp.
  3. Still three to announce. Rye House and Wolverhampton £18 and all others £16 or £17, however Wolverhampton concessions are £13 (big differential) while Rye House are £16 with all others £14.
  4. The answer to the topic header is ....... it's Speedway in the 21st Century. It'll be all down to who throws their toys out of the pram the hardest.
  5. I pay £19 for Premier League football at AFC Bournemouth. That would be £32 at Brandon as they don't have pensioner rates.
  6. Can you guys set up your own technology thread please and return this to 'Poole 2017'.
  7. His mechanic used to have a great t-shirt printed "Joonas Killed my Corgi".
  8. Not going into one of Starmans 'my opinion is better than yours' debates. You have your thoughts, I have mine. He should clean up in the diluted league, but I still think he will have his off nights when his minds not totally focused. We will see come September.
  9. Give Starman a call. He can deliver it and come and see the stadium at the same time.
  10. Glad you posted that youtube Col. I don't remember Gundersen as solely a gater and recall him being a racer and coming from the back, but didn't want to send another forum of on a tangent with certain posters starting another argument. I know it's only one race but I now feel that my recollections were not all bad.
  11. These situations are down to the individual, and it depends how many fall into each catagory. I personally have played sport all my life, so Saturday has always been the main playing sport day as it when league matches in most amateur sports take place. Now I'm an old man it's bowls and while it's only taking two off the attendance I don't do Saturday meetings. Out trips to Leicester only happen for Bank Holiday meetings, It may be that I am in a minority here, but I always recall in my football days in the 60's and 70's that AFC Bournemouth's attendances were considerably higher for midweek games as all the Saturday footballers could attend. I rarely saw a Saturday match for about 20 years. However times have changed so this argument may not hold water these days.
  12. Oh for gawds sake. You can't even simulate an apology without having a snipe at the end of it. It's a forum. An exchange of views. I don't always agree with Gavan and others, in fact frequently don't, but I read their opinions on speedway without becoming personal because mine are different. I've said it before but do give it a rest. You continue to cause much of the anti-Poole antagonism on here. Also said it before, be articulate and constructive or keep say nothing. Is this post because I don't share your views?
  13. You mean that track over there in Somerset?
  14. Yes they looked good against Super Bournemouth on Tuesday. Sorry I had to get that in. We're on cloud 9 with the footie at present. Got nosebleed from being so high.
  15. Have you ever heard the expression, "If you've nothing constructive to say, say nothing."?
  16. For my opinion I'm gutted that Chris will not be at Poole. Really envious of the Stars. Certainly play off candidates and if the second strings can up their game and get some consistency they could go the whole way. Got to keep my Pirates hat on having supported them through boyhood, adulthood (supposedly) and senility, but will be keeping a close eye on Kings Lynn and hoping Chris does the business for you.
  17. I'm told from a reliable source that they remain at the inflated figure. Spot on, so if that's so it seems a crazy decision. However I guess they ensuring that riders aren't replaced to accommodate these riders. Hypothetically Chris could be brought in on his 9 point average to replace Hans on 10.
  18. Have enough for a 3 pointer though, and Holder, Lambert and Batchelor (?) isn't a bad trio of heat leaders.
