  1. Lambert is riding for Newcastle. Can't see Matt going for Chris Holder, especially at Monmore. Bjerre is surely favourite. Otherwise it's r/r.
  2. With all this talk of replacing Shanes am I correct in thinking that it was one of the 'rules' this season that each team had to have a 3 pointer or below that was British and came up through that National League? If that is so we can't replace KK and James with two 6 pointers. I so get easily confused with Speedway rules and regulations though. It is 2018 isn't it?
  3. Monday is predicted as OK now. It's Sunday that will be the dodgy day in Poole.
  4. Yes I hardly noticed the Pirates fans at Highbridge on Good Friday evening.
  5. How's he getting to the GP's ? By road ? Melbourne could be a problem.
  6. It's an interesting question. If my calculations are correct (they frequently aren't) teams will reach their 4 home and 4 away on the following dates 1st May - Belle Vue, Somerset 10th May - Poole 18th May - Swindon 19th May - Rye House 20th May - Leicester, Wolves 24th May - Kings Lynn The benefit is with the later dates as they can still be making changes within the 50 point limit. This doesn't (obviously) cater for rain off's and/or rearranged fixtures.
  7. ....... and charging full price? A tenner might help improve the crowd. Matt has previously stated he doesn't like staging 'fill in' fixtures due to the lack of interest.
  8. Got nothing to add, just wanted to get this back on page 1. Like acef I want to keep this going.
  9. I doubt he would have cared, at least that was the impression that came accross to the terraces. I think his mind was more focused on getting his plane back to Poland. Flights seem to be playing on his mind at the moment.
  10. I don't profess to know all the rules and regulations inside out, but on the main point of contention, the non appearance of KK, I understand (from the horses mouth) that Somerset questioned the use of Morris in the morning with the referee and were told that Poole had been granted a facility and that was that. I don't know how this works. Should that facility have been removed when the Polish meeting was called off? Guess the BSPA haven't the bottle to do that, and no doubt there would be excuses given as to why he couldn't get back. From a Poole point of view I am disappointed with the lack of commitment by our number 1, but like most riders now Poland is much more important than the UK. Maybe he just wanted to spend Easter with his family? As far as the evening is concerned it is unfair to blame Garrity as it was good of him to take the booking at late notice and drive down from Manchester(?) on Good Friday. If we Poole fans want to whinge it must be over the decision not to go with r/r which would almost certainly got us the win. Whatever anyones opinions of Matt are he is usually pretty astute, just that last night proved he's not infallible. Well done to the Rebels. They beat what was put in front of them.
  11. 18 points at Kings Lynn last night. What time are the gates opening at Oaktree on Friday? Probably my eyes but I can't see this anywhere.
  12. Wouldn't agree with that. Thought that's when it started to go downhill. Never been consistently good since Speedy (Pete Jarman) was doing them.
  13. There's no reduction for pensioners tonight and so far as I know no complaints. As Steve say's it's for Darcy's foundation.
  14. But are they showing Swedish Speedway? Highlights are best. Avoids the 7 minute gap between races.
  15. He's pulled out of the Premiership Pairs for family reasons. He's baby sitting. True, well as true as anything in the press is.
  16. That doesn't work Gem as people quote his posts in their reply. I know I've tried it.
  17. You might have to explain the word 'constructive' to him. It's got more than four letters.
  18. I'm in the Belle Vue must be favourites camp.
