Bet your bookmaker loves it when you come through the door. If we hold them to 20 I'll be surprised. Wolves were unlucky last time. Howarth to make up for last times misfortune and go through the card. Hmm. Might see what the odds are for that.

Belle Vue Aces Vs Poole Pirate 31/07
Pirate Baz replied to SCB's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Well if there is it's not working. -
Why? If the average was attained on 19th July surely it is applicable from that date. I know we're talking about speedway's governing bodies here so I'm not going to win this one. Thanks anyway for the responses guys.
-
But the KOC cup matches were ridden at the start of April so KK's fourth home meeting was 19th July at which point his average became 5.5. Kennett signed after that date.
-
So how were we able to introduce Kennett on a higher average than 5.5?
-
Can someone answer me a question to clear my simple mind please? New averages applied after 4 home and 4 away meetings. Correct? Poole had to replace the enigma of KK before he completed his 4th home meeting, otherwise his average would drop (seemingly to 5.5). Correct? Then how have Rye House signed KK on 5.5 when he's only completed three home meetings and supposedly retains his higher average?

If it was 2005 when we last lost three on the bounce, when did we last lose four? -

Can't see us getting close to Wolves tonight. Still not convinced about KK. Brief flashes but not the consistency required from a number 1. First meeting for Lahti and will need a couple of meetings. Not a Jack track i.e. full throttle round the boards, but having said that the lad is learning every meeting. Don't know how Richie is around Monmore, so a lot on the shoulders of a not fully fit Hans. Hope the reserves are on song to keep it (relatively) close. But what do I know? Thought we'd get mullered at Lynn. PS. Porky is good. On of the best presenters on the circuit. -

Do we know for sure that Klindt is riding? If last time was anything to go by he won't be racing. Is it correct that he dropped out of Poland yesterday? I trust that if he is riding he'll be moved to number 2 so we can have a fit rider at 4 in heat 14 (Jack Holder?). -
Swindon Robins Vs Wolves (29-6-17)

Don't think he was 'chosen' Rob. I believe he was the second lowest average after the reserve. -

..... and you would know. Were it only true. Could even make me miss England v South Africa and come along. -
If Matt thinks that potential sponsors are reading fans forums and thus reconsidering their sponsorship then what affect will the headline on the back of todays Bournemouth Echo have. In one and a half inch high capital letters it says FORD AXES KYLE. (Note the use of Surname and Christian names).

Poland don't want any of their riders to come over here but as a young rider it could be beneficial to develop some experience. Why would they block Drabik yet allow Predzpelski come over? What's the difference? -

My last meeting was on 1st May and if tonight is rained off my next will be on 26th June. I did have a fruitless trip to Wolverhampton and spent a night in a Premier Inn as the meeting was rained off. I won't be going to Belle Vue. Poole have Leicester on 21st June but I have tickets for England v South Africa at the Rose Bowl that evening. Purchased about six months before the speedway fixtures came out. My old mum claimed she took me to speedway as a babe in arms so I can tenuously claim to have been attending for nearly 70 years. I recently remarked to my wife that enough is enough and this, unless something radical happens in the winter, will be my final year. It probably won't be as it's happened before and she ultimately drags me down there again. The social part of speedway is the one great positive. Many nice people and good friends to chat to and put the world to rights, but as fans we are totally taken for granted by the people that run the sport. If I'm still around in ten years time I'll go and watch it somewhere when it's an amateur sport and regained some credibility. -

Today's modern technology has given three different forecasts on three different websites. Prefer to hear from the man standing under the rain than the computer telling me it's a lovely day. -

Wasn't asking you. Enquiring from people in Wolverhampton. News from the track rather than your i-phone. Hope to see you later. -

Any weather news/advice from up there guys and gals? Local forecast says the anticipated rain is moving more to the east and should miss Poole and the west. If that is consistent right up the country then it should be ok. As always every weather forecast you go on is different. -
Don't think that helps Steve0. We still wouldn't have two.

Hope you're right Steve, but Wolves look pretty strong at present. Take it you'll be there? So long since we've had any speedway I doubt I'll recognise you.
