Me... Far better things to do normally, which is why I don't post anywhere near as much as some of the anoraks currently around... but as it was Sunday and I was home relaxing, i thought I'd keep an eye on some results.. I will be asking you the same question if I see you pop up elsewhere with criticisms!

And neither am I on Newcastle threads at every opportunity either! I have a life and a career which keeps me very busy nowadays thank you very much!

No agenda at all against Newcastle riders or there promoter, whom in all honesty most clubs should take a look at because of your recent success these past few years! You don't know me at all to assume what I think! The only thing I don't like is your track... And not just cos I'm that "bitter Berwick fan who watched her team beat last week"... I've been most years since 2001 to build my opinion on it!

I'm not bringing Shielfield into this... Rather predictable retaliation tho! Last week several riders were caught out by bend 2 in particular... I was there to see it... I didn't imagine it!

I may be the one who has misunderstood but I thought he was hinting that he was pleased that we would have been using a junior rather than giving the booking to someone more experienced!

That was one of my bug bears too.. We need to use Matej in that form as much as possible... But everyone from Berwick will be hurting after this... So heads down, severe arse kicking needed and move on.. We will come back from this On a side note.. 2 issues... No.1: How very disappointing to see Dan Greenwood IMO deliberately stay down in Heat 7.. The Geordies slated Starkey last year on the TV match when he done the same thing... anything to say about that now? Well Done to Liam for getting up so quickly when he came off... No.2: the track... Yes, Berwick ain't perfect... But what is the issue with that 2nd bend... So many seemed to get unwanted drive.. Overlock it.. Whatever...it's better then what I've seen in the past but still needs work on it... We did not deserve to come away with nothing... Just my opinion... Kudos to Newcastle for giving us a reality check in some ways! We will be back!

Well, our boys handled Ben Barker on his home track... Hope they have no qualms about showing Craig Cook a back wheel or too either! Failing that, let him go and try get the 3-3... I predict this could be very tight but we are high on confidence at the minute. Coming away with a point would make me happy here.. 4-6 point win either way!

In his defence... I suffer migraines and paracetamol alone doesn't touch them... They are not pleasant at all.. Mine used to floor me for 2-3 days a time!

Note I said starting to pick up.. The whole rolling averages have an impact on things but his scores have definitely improved for this season!

It's not surprising he's starting to pick up now at a place where he feels happy and is enjoying things again!

Missing it for the World Cup I could possibly understand... But if people are missing it for a friendly against a simple team like Peru then god help you guys!

Well... I'm certainly glad I made that long painful journey! Every one of our lads played their part in that win.. At times, it honestly did look like we were more the home team! Certainly got good feelings about the rest of the season at the minute... 14 points from an available 14 for the Bandits... GIRUY! On a side note... How sad it was to see that Plymouth have indeed had a drop in crowds.., they have a lovely little set up there... And yet again, the track did provide enough to keep me entertained which is all I ask for my money... Hope things do pick up there!

Was I right to be optimistic?

He was at Plymouth when we won there 36-57 (IIRC) in 2011... We had no qualms about the size of the track then!
