Rye can't help the circumstances that Workington had.. They had a job to do though and certainly done it! There was some good races today... track held up ok but was still dusty near the end of the meeting!

Well... until somerset meddled around with their track at heat 8 last season when we were giving them a shock, we were certainly proving something there.. There is no reason we can't go and give them a match! Sarjeant for Compton makes them somewhat stronger at reserve for sure but we just need to go out and ride full throttle 2 inches from the boards... gutted I won't be there but I'll be watching updates from poolside in Sharm

I never believed we would rack up a big lead in the 1st place.. I don't get what Ipswich fans were being so whiny for... We've had Richard Hall's 1st meeting for us and he is lacking race fitness... Olly Greenwood who to be fair to him was never gonna provide us with the points Alex could.... missing Claus and TJ too... Yes, Ritchie Worrall has been a very good guest but he's only matched the points we'd have got from our own riders being there!

You've lost one home meeting against a good Sheffield team... We've won one home meeting against an average Newcastle team... Think yourselves lucky! Yes, you're weakened but that's still a team coming to represent you that could trouble us! Are the Ipswich fans just playing the 'Berwick to thrash us card' so they can show utter jubilation once they get close or win the meeting... its still a good witches line up... Branford had a decent enough meeting with the monarchs at our place and Lawson can gate well enough to do damage... Ritchie Worrall is a good guest but I'd have definitely preferred having Claus and TJ.. be interesting to see how our reserve pairing gets on Would love to see a thrashing by us to get morale back up in our camp

That same hopeless guest you had scoring 7&2 from 5 from number 2 for you at home last year despite him not having had a good showing for his team earlier that year! He had 3 rides starting off the graveyard gate 4 alone.
