  1. Crashing in heat 13 of his 1st meeting of the season and returning earlier than he should have from broken bones in his hand played a massive part in his dip in for IMO! A fully fit Barker is a genuine no.1!
  2. I know our promotion read this Please dont let our club whimper out like this. Try do something to salvage some face. Give us something to want to keep coming back. The team we have now simply is not good enough to win. People will not come if they know we have no chance of a win! I could rattle off at least 30 people who no longer come any more because of how this season has pittered out I'm in Berwick on September 5th for our league match with Rye... I can see a 2nd away win of the season coming for them.... I'm seriously considering whether to be in attendance that night
  3. Sorry to correct you outsider Mathias Thornblom is a Bandit
  4. Nah... I think they could be the danger team too... they're in the slightly easier group IMO!
  5. Don't worry... I've got a fair idea of what's gone on behind the scenes.. but for the survival of our club, if communicating between one another could help, then surely it is a no brainer!
  6. The way things were gone about at the start of the season was all wrong. Would be good if both parties can just sit down and talk about ways to help each other out
  7. He had one bad meeting but other than that, along with Kevin Doolan, has been a very bright light in a very disappointing season!
  8. Don't think I've got any words that could sum that up! People will take the piss no doubt because of the fact my fiance is a Rye supporter.... but that was just so hard to watch! Thought about walking out of a meeting for the 1st time ever but no.. I stuck at it and watched every painful heat! Everything just stunk of defeat and giving up last night and I also believe I've just seen my last Berwick home meeting! It's been an absolutely stinking few days!
  9. Should have never strayed to Glasgow... surely another French man should have warned him
  10. Not even some on here... there's a few that are happy clappers now that wanted him out! I know cos I seen things myself. Never mind.. He's this season in particular what an asset he is.. start of last season he had the pressure on him at starting at no.1 even though he really wasn't brought into be. And my other half is fine.. I was only told to f*** off about 7 or 8 times.. that's about 50 less times than I was expecting there's another 15 heats to race though before any plans are made!
  11. 13 years I've waited to see that again Job only half done but I'd like to think we can say that's us in the Semis though! We won as a team today.. Thank you to Rohan Tungate for an excellent guest performance TJ- what can you say... signing of the season and has more than proved himself Doolie put in his typical Rye performance.. always in amongst the points. Coty done his 4 heats. Had a big off in one of them but bounced back. Didn't score but at the same time he didn't give up and came out after the meeting to attempt to have a look at things with his bike! Our reserves were the key though... they've had a couple of stinkers in the last few meetings but today was the best I've EVER seen Richard Hall at Rye... he rode it like a long track but he seemed to have the speed and made some superb passes... and Alex too.. Definitely had a hard time lately but again, 5 valuable points on a track he doesn't have fond memories of... job done! Looks like Somerset in the Semis if and when we get there!
  12. Ta for explaining darling. Yep, back to full time work after nearly a year on Maternity Leave. A busy Oncology Ward with a heavy case load of patients was sadly my priority. I'm gutted about that result in all honesty though... but as for bandits4never...try again sunshine.. I ain't a fickle fan... I am doing our mini tour in august.. I hope to make our rerun at Plymouth... I've seen a fair few meetings this season actually. . I support my team through the good and bad... so, politely do one
  13. I know that Normski.. telling Goodiepatchie that you're right there to ask instead of him moaning on....
  14. Grippy... mwahahahahaha! There was dust on Saturday past and our boys thought it ideal... same again please
  15. Yep... last Saturday and not the Peterborough one please... and yes... I'm awfully bitter
  16. How nice to see Fisher scoring so well... If he'd done that for us at Peterborough we may have had a different result.. Disappointing result but main thing is it wasn't a defeat... that will probably come next week... Alex should be scoring more than 1 point on his home track..If there was issues it would be good to know what they were! Decent opening score for our new boy considering it's his 1st meeting in England... and another good meeting for our Captain too which is pleasing! And thank you to Richie Worrall on yet again another good guest performance for us.. Hope TJ is alright and ready for next week... we're gonna need him! How badly we need a proper 1-7 though! These next few weeks are gonna show that... I do feel for our promotion with how the season has ended up!
