I won't deny that my faith had been sorely tested this season... It's certainly been a painful one... But being on the supporters club committee this year and around other people who've given me such laughs reminded me why I didn't just stop going! It was hard but those last 6 meetings were a joy! And as I say, we go into 2018 with positive anticipation! We know we've got a promotion team who want the sport to move forward, not just for Berwick, but for speedway in general! They involve their fans... They use social media how it should be used... They've got off their arses and gone out and promoted our team as it should be! If more follow their lead next season, it could be the start of happier and cheaper times for most.

But to show credit to our promotion, they ain't lost thousands of pounds due to rained off meetings, crowds held up reasonably well, we had a successive run of wins to build on for next year and we know for certain that we will be racing in 2018 after Scott confirmed things! Good times for Berwick knowing that this early for a change!

Speak to a large majority and we'll tell you the same... Liam was put into an awful position of having to start in the top 5 when he should've been reserve... I'd personally have given him a chance at reserve to get confidence back! The difference is speak to a large majority of comets fans and they hope sarjeant would never grace their track again!

To be fair, to a large majority of your fans, I'd be doing the same thing! That home straight stand can be one of the most volatile places I've seen for fans baying for your blood!

Id certainly be speaking with NBJ about coming back... And as others have said, even if we can't get Nick, then an established number 1 is a must! I certainly have felt privileged that we've had Nick this season... He's been more than committed for us and how fitting it would be if we see him crowned riders champion on the 24th... Hope there is a big load of us Bandit fans there to support him!

Might have an excuse? We were chucked out the meeting and he only made arrangements after that! I am more pissed off at the BSPA for the way we were screwed about! We may have had a chance with Nick being with us... That being said... Our 4 were by far the weakest line up on paper yet we have not disgraced ourselves at all!
