Can't agree with that. The standard was good last year and even better this year. I've seen a lot of good racing this year with the top riders in the league, Joe and Dan Thompson, Kyle Bickley, Jordan Jenkins, Jason Edwards, Nathan Ablitt. Some very talented youngsters coming through as well, Max Perry, Ace Pijper, Jody Scott. Every chance Workington and maybe Eastbourne joining the league next year. Doesn't seem to me the NDL is missing Isle of Wight to be honest.

British speedway is a joke.

Go down the route of Isle of Wight and bring back Upright bikes, with riders from the 70s, or Flatrack racing. That should bring on the youngsters. It's all about the future. Or maybe just pick brambles while the racing is on. Or maybe copy Poland and bring in the Lucky Loser concept to spice up the playoffs and "make every heat count" (or not as it turns out). -

Bullets playoff meeting? Ah I see what it says on the website now. -

Credibility like the Lucky Loser playoff system? -
I hope they're version of a meeting doesn't catch on. Even the meeting reports in the Speedway Star mention the vast differnce in the atandard of riders. I did laugh at the latest promotion gimmick in the Speedway Star. The promotion wasn't going to charge punters for picking brambles growing on bushes in the ground. Might have been more entertaining than the racing i suppose.

UK speedway slowly dying

Got mine for £25 on the day at the tickets office. Top tier, third bend, great view. And plenty space to stretch out and move about if you wanted. -

Considering three of these days were for the Championship Pairs and Cardiff GP weekend, plus only one team rides on a Tuesday night. What do you expect? -
How Many Riders Constitute a Team?

Didn't know that to be honest, I'm too young (honest) to remember. I only found out about White City through a recent Speedway Star -

You never got this in the old days. You certainly never got White City operating r/r all season for a rider they never had in the first place. You certainly never got Exeter being allowed a gueat facility for Ivan Mauger who only agreed to ride home meetings. -
Berwick v Plymouth Championship 06/08/2022

Jenkins wasn't taken off, he tried to go round Kasper, got in the deep stuff and slid off. He also got away with one when he took off Ben Morley in heat 8. Both meetings reminded me of the National League in the 70/80's when Southern teams would come up and at the end of a tour be stuck with injuries and get hammered. Same when Berwick used to go to the likes of Eastbourne and Mildenhall and regularly get 60 put on them even in 13 heats. -
You forgot to add Lucky Loser. Something else you can only get in Poland.
