  1. Only went to the afternoon meeting which i usually do. i agree it was quite lack lustre with 3 or 4 good heats. but come on whingers - its SPEEDWAY ON ICE!! its NEVER gonna be proper racing and it should only be fun. I thank all the riders for trying and having a go. On the plus side it was great to see david lHowe look the star performer in the afternoon, i think i jinxed him when i told he should do ok on the evening! sorry David lol the crashes were pretty spectacular tho and im glad all got up and walked away. i think the main problem with telford now tho is that riders have a better understanding of how the elements work and so theres a lot of the `fun` element lost. i remember in the earlier days you were amazed that they ever completed a race never mind get thru the meeting. if thats what people call fun then i personally dont. but its good to see that it levels up all abilities tho, thats the interesting part to me. ill be at telford 08 - no whining from me - its a fun day BEFORE the start of the season. Go or dont go!!!
  2. more chance of that happening than bomber winning a GP however
  3. biggest tongue in cheek post yet. total rubbish too tho as well Second string in GP shocker - i can see the headlines
  4. not fair - in that comparision then lindback, Bpedersen are wasters.
  5. im sorry - zagar has earned the right. Andersen was never going get an official placing tho there are merits that hes earned the right by scoring the points. however it means that Andersen has at least earned his place by right by qualifying and there no argument on that one. However i was personally hoping that Andersen would have qualifed on points as it would have meant that PK would have got in as next in line from the qualifying final. I agree with another comment that Andersen has indeed taken his foot off the pedal as he seemed to do before - which i believe was always his undoin. he started like he had a point to prove then tailed off in the last 2 gps. wether he can sustain his good start over a season is yet to be proved. im yet to believe hes a real threat to crumps domination just yet - tho we will see next season wont we?!
  6. scott and antonio almost certainly will get a nomination. however thankfully its goodbye lee richardson - you wont be missed. welcome to simon stead id say.
  7. i think scotties place is safe. its consistency thats the key and yes he had a poor GP by his so far decent standards - however Richardson had an absymal GP so there can be NO comparison. Scottie has earned his role as the countries number one so he WONT be dropped from it. But take HANS ANDERSEN as an example - didnt have a great year but still made some semis and he STILL was axed for somebody less experienced and younger. Lee has a habit of having the odd okish GP but on the whole hes pretty much fodder. i happened to Hans, it will happen to lee. If Steady carries on his form this year and impresses in world cup/cardiff then i feel he will be in and lee out. I think its the best move for the future.
  8. Great showing from `OUR ` Freddie! surely hes in contention for next years series?
  9. Well done Jase - hes up for it this year.
  10. The quote of the meet `the disappointing lee richardson` - never a truer word said. Steady in next year surely.
  11. and your just one big (oh hush my little mouth)
  12. and of course we could never accuse of of bigging up britians biggest flop richardson tho
  13. exciting meeting - think that the racing in poland will be cracking!
  14. screen will be our weak link not the youngsters. but unless loram is 100% lets keep the same 5.
  15. well i though watt was still out and johno is definetly riding - whos he replacing then?
  16. or for the riders to already BE in the right mind to do it
