  1. Thank god! End of speculation. the only one who DESERVES it will be the rider who finishes highest of the non GP Brits. GO HOWIE!!!!!
  2. thats 2 of us that think alike!!! just once?!
  3. its DEFINETLY highest place non GP Brit gets it. Your sources were wrong Howie for Cardiff - how does that sound Orion??
  4. Bomber did OK, but it was indeed JAGUS who showed how to make a proper debut. Maybe Harris WILL get better and his efforts may be rewarded with the occasional semi and maybe he will continue his current step up in level. For Britain , lets hope so.
  5. tongue in cheek fails everytime on here Lupus. My posts have been misunderstood for years!!
  6. figures quoted in local papers as a crowd of 5000. Impressive stadium but NO atmosphere what so ever! Maybe too many neutrals or just coming to look or the lack of airhorns im not sure. The racing was ok for a first meeting and i took advantage of the overspill being able to stand by the tractor just behind the fence on the fourth corner. Nice one!!!! Compton again looks impressive at this level and untouchable but others that impressed me include wright, smart and correy. its so good to see the Brummies open again and heres to the TEAM doing well.
  7. Good lord, take a chill pill will you before you have a heart attack!!! you DID put words into my mouth as you made your own judgement of what you believed i said. The facts are still there however. No amount of spell-checking can change that. Its interesting you say me and lupus are over sensitive yes throw accusations around willy nilly also! Double standards and all that!!! Maybe you also should think about posting an assumptive reply to any of my posts so i wont have to reply with sarcasm then Plus if i do post ambiguisly its not your place to pre-guess what i was saying. Either post an opinion back or dont, its easy. As for any insults that you feel have been given to you then its quite clear what you need to do - report the poster! This has been a discussion in my view and has been nothing personal in it - ive not mentioned anything about your country of origin, but even so i dont feel that classes as personal abuse. We speedway fans are pretty opinionated anyway - doesnt make any one of us superior or inferior to the other. Have a good day now
  8. Bright and sunny from my door step today. nippy but nowhere near as bad as sunday!! ill be heading off to the track at 6.30 to welcome back the Brummies opening. Be strange but im looking forward to it. Shame it wasnt a challenge against the mighty Wolves tho Heres looking to an emotional re-opening.
  9. interesting that youve put words in my mouth. Your entitled to make of my post what you want. However anyone that knows me there was no disrespect meant (as it clearly wasnt mentioned). The fact that no one else has mentioned that means your on your own then, which says it all really. As it happens id liked to have been at Newport to see David win - but SAM had to have my support that day. Thats the very point indeed
  10. well thank you SCB - nor are you! It was brief i agree, i think the cold had siezed my brain to talk to much! be good to catch up again when the bees are in town next
  11. the PLACE is not in question. HOWEVER the RIDER is!! SAM is one of the best riders of his generation and been at the top for a long period. id say anyone that could was at wolverhampton on sunday. To support a legend. Lupus point is therefore totally valid
  12. Hes WAY to good for the PL im afraid. Can see him adding 2 points on his starting average this year with comfort. Great win David.
  13. oh id forgotten about him. its only for the BEST of British so he might not have a good enough average to get in thanks for reminding silver bee
  14. the track that won best prepared strip last year you mean?
  15. its a cracking line up. its gonna be packed out that day. I sincerly hope its good weather
  16. but of course! but i can see that its unlikely Howe OR harris will win the British final - unless both have an exceptional meeting. i agree easy - there should indeed be some great matches between us - as always really! And of course the Midland Cup redtored back in its rightful place in Wolverhampton
  17. Completely disagree - if YOU took your tinted glasses off its pretty obvious that any `normal` speedway fan wouldnt put harris as an obvious candidate to win the british final. I love your obvious biasness - as always. You never disappoint
  18. If you really believe PK is NOT good enough to be in the GP series - ie in the best 15 riders in the world - then im completely wasting my time. I was very specific that the WOLVES 1-7 would give there all and not have GP concerns - i thought it was pretty obvious most of the elite league riders have other clubs in other countries
  19. yea of course - Pk isnt good enough in his own right to be in.
  20. and we marvel that hes scraped together 21 points over the series
