Prague May 22nd Its Official This Time
stevebrum replied to beercellar's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Gollob every single day of the week. The most gifted rider ive ever had the pleasure to witness. If thats your best, ill not break out a sweat to be insulted. Well said. Think this poster is just a disgrace to most speedway supporters. What a total hypocrite. You slate others for having different opinions. Try and at least being real and consistent. -

Some thinks Gollob was in the wrong, some thing he was in the right. Your an insult to anyone who thinks different -

Unusually, im in agreement. AJ looked like he put his foot over gollobs wheel as he knew he would get a rerun as there was no way he would have stayed on. They were already into the corner - no need for AJ to put his foot down. Gollob was under him and AJ tried to get a re-run the way i saw it. Terrible accident for Emil - hope he is back soon. Can only agree. Massive pride in seeing him win heat 1 in style. -

the point im making is that lee misses a lot of big meetings with `illness` related problems. Thats all. Seeing as you asked twice . let me try and answer the question. Tai fits in perfectly with BSI plans for young and exciting seeded riders. Had a decent debut season in the elite UK and done well in top flight in Poland and Sweden. and is young. Think that clears that up then. -

Harris, lindgren ARE pretty much in terms of age and experience . Old blood like 30 somethings i believe. Still feel they should invest in young blood as you stated. Many where saying too early for Emil but clearly not. Ward has said he wouldnt be able to afford it yet but reckon he will be in 2011 at any rate. Kennett may well be new blood but he is still a few years older . -

I agree on his form abroad. However the BSI want new blood not old and to be honest Richardson has shown scant regard to the qualification process. Always seems to withdraw with an injury. So that wont be looked on favourably im sure. Both Harris and Richardson on a similar par GP form wise. Harris is younger and the reigning British Champion. Thats all it is really id say. In truth i dont think Richardson was even considered for a pick. -

yea i remember him saying that in the past , tho he recently has been making enough noise about he deserves to be in the GP`s now. Shame he cant be bothered to do the qualifiers as he obviously expects to be wild carded all the time. He has had his chance - the only way he should get in is if he qualifies in my opinion. Not surprised about Bomber. Think being reigning champion has something to do with it. Kennett whilst a forward thought i feel is nowhere near ready for the GPs yet. Tai no surprise as it was obvious before the GPs finished he would be in it. -

A pretty decent meeting with some fairly good racing due to the handicap system. Quite a muted atmosphere tonight - the home fans are obviously waiting for next week to welcome the champions back No idea why Barker pulled out as nothing was said. Always like the idea of seeing new and young talent go against bigger stars. Suprised by no actual new talent as its the tradition for these meetings. Perhaps one of Wolbert or larsen came to sign there contract at the same time - i hope! 1st---Freddie an easy and deserved winner . way too quick for anyone else. the new king of monmore. 2nd - Bomber - looked much quicker than he has been for the past week or so, great scrap with Bridger who showed him who is top Brit. 3rd - Nicholls - about as ordinary as you can and finish on the rostrum. the rest----- Klindt - looked pacey and trying passing lines. was lining Scott up in the run off but was out smarted by Nicholls. Robson - pretty ordinary sort of night Fishback - impressed me. worth more points. got ganged on in a couple of heats and worth at least double the points he finished with. Lawson - can ride monmore well so is gonna be tricky to catch if gets ahead as freddie found out. decent nights work. Kerr - my MOTM. determined effort all night and passing from the back. Great night for Chris. Well done. Sqora - all out effort as always . larsen - decent enough effort without every impressing. Still would like to see him signed up tho. Haines - good effort when ahead to fight for placings. Bridger - took on harris and freddie and had the beating of them but couldnt control the bike well enough for the 4 laps. always enjoy watching him tho. Getting passed by Kerr was not a highlight for him tho. Proctor - 2 great wins from the gate and looked quick but couldnt pass in traffic with a slickening track. Wolbert - deserved more and as impressive as i thought. id be happy if we signed him next yeear too please! ingalls - out of his depth completely. woodward - won one race from the gate easy but otherwise ordinary. -

true. tho its usually about blending popular visiting riders and new riders . And to be fair there wasnt many wolves riders invited to the Joe Thurley open meeting. Kerr exempt. -

YES please!!!!! What an insightful mind you have Thats fine, he will help wolves make Swindon pay for it Im suprised you could be so polite! On the plus side, well done Darcy. Another big talent that will put his elite team in the play offs. Lets start the scramble!!!!! Tai has another chance, but if anyone NEEDED it more this year it would have been Tai and the Woffindens. Your future is bright young man, wolves will look after you. Also well done to Nic - decent enough showing -
disagree, still finished 4th

Which Brit Should Get A Wild Card?
stevebrum replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
disagree he is the best by a long way and averages dont lie. I also believe Bomber needs a break away from it, and the only way to push the next generation on is to put them against the worlds best. Tai has already taken major scalps in all countries and would do no worse in the GP series than we already have - even at his inexperienced level. Emil, freddie, holder, tai - they are the future of the GP series -
Grand Prix Challenge.

the thing that stuck wih me about the Poles CC was the way the politely `mocked` the Brits reservedness by politely clapping and saying `bravo` when the poles didnt win. They are of course totally spot on. No wonder Polish speedway is so good and well supported - they BLEED it!!!!!!!!!
