No it doesnt. He bottled it on the opening bend and then just wasnt able to pass. He can be so mystifying at times. -

Good too see Bunyan doing Coventry proud, even Sowka could beat him -
Great to see a good line up turn out for Magnus. The trrack looked pretty well prepared but there was little passing. The constant drizzle may have made riders cautious so can be understood. Or of course it could be just that the track wasnt up for good racing last night. The general consensus last night appeared to be that there was little in the way of passing so therefore the track didnt allow it. For the Leicester and PL supporters it must have been great to see some of the top riders at their track. A Leicester group i stood with want PK to ride for them before he retires so they must have been delighted. Shame that rain stopped play in the end but at least 12 heats gave us some value for money. Bjarne gated well after a first race flop, Freddie looked pretty dominant till he lost to Bjarne, Sundstrom looked quick and provided one of the passes on the night. Nicki was nicki naturally. What a delight it was to see Mikael Max after what seems an age away from British rider. My favourite rider of all time looked off the pace in 2 heats but gated to a superb win over Kenny Bjerre. Good to see the Juniors given races too.

Probably the best ben fund meeting ive seen racing wise. Certainly lively action in the last quarter. I cannot believe someone was calling for Sowka`s head after 2 races. Fool. (on wolfpack) The wolves trio were poor on a day of good standard opposition. Nicolai was gating awfully and then leaving too much work to do, altho he did appear quicker with each heat. Ty never really got going or looked threatening. Lukas got better with each heat and was more on the pace in his last 2 heats. The lad is 17 and has little experience other than 2nd tier in Poland. Give him a chance FFS!!!! Barker was a deserved winner, king certainly deserved his rostrum place. Auty looked brilliant and the Brummies certainly look like having a good season on todays display. Thank god we all got discount tickets for next weeks opening match against us. Wont be so hard to take when we get thrashed! £10 entry next week should ensure a good crowd. Harris is always value for money, N Pedersen you know is going to be involved in a racing incident, Schlein looked quick, b Pedersen proved he will hold his own for the Brummies. The PL lads did little as to be expected. Richardson showed why he isnt GP standard anymore whilst fisher proved he is still more than capable of an EL spot. Hope Roynon is ok, that a nasty get off and looked to have gone over with his leg twisted. Certainly indicated to the paramedics that something was wrong. Can only hope its nothing serious as the lad deserves a break. A bumper crowd sent home happy with the Brummies fans happier than most. YES, the season is now on!!!!!! ;D -

Where are these sources from?? Who oh why do riders say they will take part then just pull out day before, makes speedway a mockery. -
Think ive only missed 1 Telford since it started. You always know the season is around the corner when Telford comes around so im always a little excited. Plus a good chance to catch up with friends. Racing has got a little more processional as some riders are clearly better than others at it. I prefer the afternoon to the evening also as the evening is much more serious and processional. At least the afternoon meet is more light-heated. Still cant wait all the same!

Find it odd that Werner is being considered. Has been in decline for a while even before he stopped racing. Surely there are better options?
