Yes you are. You will make changes and bring in riders from your enormous rider poole. Sommat to do with your awesome start and still unbeaten. You think that you wont make changes for the play offs if needed ? Poole will stay favourites with the bookies , so its clear. Yours to lose again.

Anything less than victory for the Pirates will count as yet another choking.

No idea.

As he only rode for the Bees i thought that much was obvious???????
-
Im sure he rode just about enough meetings in 2 seasons to be deemed an asset.

Pawlicki has the potential to be a 9 pointer here with ease. We just wont see enough of him. I assume Coventry have given permission to talk to him

Copenhagen Gp Saturday 9th June

Why was it shocking? Emil lifted violently and was out of control coming INTO the bend. Bjarne had shut off as he had nowhere to go with a rider out of control. Emil was out of control so he caused the incident in the first place. Thats a huge shame. Bad luck for Jarek. -

Seems quite simple. Dont you just know that many will still think that AJ beating Harris tumps it. Of course it doesnt. -

I just cannot believe Pedersen. Hates riders jumping off bikes (as THJ did according to him last GP) but is happy to do the same. Starts things. No need to be so ruthless. Cannot blame Holder for fighting back for his position. -

Nowt like winning your home GP to make you smile

Never disputed his inclusion, as he remains one of the better riders in the GP`s. Id rather a dull rider than a deliberate dangerous rider. Just my opinion. Dull won the day. I couldnt be happier!! Nah, never have too long to wait for a typical Nicki P performance.
-
WELL DONE FREDDIE. So proud of you. Lets hope its the start of something for him. He has the talent. Welcome back to dirty Nicki. The only one who cant see its HIS fault.

Will This Kickstart Freddie's Season
stevebrum replied to outofdarkness's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I feared for Freddie this season. He has looked a beaten man. What a fantastic performance. -
Ten minutes before start time the terraces were still half empty, however more did come in by start time , but definetly the lowest crowd of the season. AWFUL FORMAT. Im led to believe it was the same format as the one used for the New Year classic. No meaning and no real pattern to follow. Some riders not facing each and others riding against each other twice. The line up for the Peterson meeting is usually a good and exciting one but this looked like it was thrown together and was poor by its usual high standards. No idea as to why Lukasz didnt ride, maybe he wasnt up to it given he was in yersterdays meeting. Pontus i believe didnt ride because of the U21`s?? If so why announce him being there. Poor poor planning. A very sombre opening. No music march out and very quick presentation. Plus a fitting minute silence for Lee with warm applause to follow. The races started pretty much processionally but then livened up to some good and sometimes hard (yes you Fisher) races. He rode tai out too wide in heat 4 and both come down. Apparently had to helped taking off helmet and gloves and was a little surprised (and relieved) when he came out in heat 7. However his withdrawal meant that all was not as well as expected. Fisher was back to his usual tricks and just giving Ty nowhere to go but shut off to stop him from staying ahead in the final. Ty had drifted wide but Fisher as always wont give a rider a fair chance to fight for his position. Not a popular winner as some boos rang out when he tood on the podium. Ty, Ricky both looked good and capable of springing a surprise. Thomas was a real crowd pleaser and is really progressing well. Hope we see more of him. His batlle and re-pass of stead was excellent. Kus - what a gater, but struggles holding onto positions. That said he fully earned his place in the final. Gated ahead in every heat, except the final! Stead - should clean up with a field like this (woff excluded) however he struggled all night and no surprise he didnt make the final. Ingalls got better as the track slickened. The rest?? Mellgren did ok and i believe he is being looked at as possible D/U? Palm Toft - Did get involved in some action but largely outclassed. Randrup - had some moments but not really at a standard to be considered as a possible new 4 pointer Thorsell - failed to score HOWEVER was in the thick of the action , lost points thru inexperience, led a race for a lap , looks tidy sort of rider. The one that looks to have the most potential.

Freddie needs to step up to the plate this year or else his place could be in jeopardy. In fairness in the last 2 seasons he has spent a chunk in the top 8 so its unfair to say he isnt GP standard. This year tho he really has to qualify of right i reckon to be sure. That said i dont see many better Swedes that would get a pick ahead of him.
