i think scotties place is safe. its consistency thats the key and yes he had a poor GP by his so far decent standards - however Richardson had an absymal GP so there can be NO comparison.
Scottie has earned his role as the countries number one so he WONT be dropped from it.
But take HANS ANDERSEN as an example - didnt have a great year but still made some semis and he STILL was axed for somebody less experienced and younger.
Lee has a habit of having the odd okish GP but on the whole hes pretty much fodder.
i happened to Hans, it will happen to lee. If Steady carries on his form this year and impresses in world cup/cardiff then i feel he will be in and lee out.
I think its the best move for the future.
great effort from all 5 - perhaps all this talk of nobody decent ready to step up can be put behind.
steady, harris, howe, kennett - all riders that would have done us proud 2day.
great effort from the youngsters!
plain boring - give me the knock-out system anytime - EVERY race counts for something when really only the last 7 heats really mattered last night.
Going backwards is never a good thing and thats all this is.
Ive never been so bored watching a GP before and that takes some doin.
Thought the track was too slick personally.
The only riders that stood out to me-
RICKO - magnificent and a class above.
CRUMP - great then faded but as determined as ever
LINDBACK - cant ask for a better debut really and was prepared to race
HAMPEL - shame hes not interested in uk anymore
The others didnt even register on the intersted scale
