Darcy Showing What A Pro He Is Again
stevebrum replied to speedibee's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Shame all the teams he rides for doesn't follow suit. -
No idea. But so many keep mentioning it. But lets face when has a rule been written in stone and stuck to by the BSPA!
-
Ok, non taken.
-
Someone should have a word with the journalist - according to some (who claim they know more than others) the March 1st rule doesn't exist.
-
Shame you didn't link crump99 into this post, who was equally `trifling`. Anyway lets drop the whole thing and return the thread to what it should be about.
-
Talk about stating the obvious. No one had an idea what went on unless you were in the room. Dear oh dear. I would have a sensible debate with you if you were able to provide one. But like you say i am sure Lynn folk would like a thread without you constantly trying to get one up on folk. But failing more often that not. I would like to say debating with you is fun, when you provide one it might be a different story. Sorry Lynn fans. Have a great season.
-
You call those well thought out? To suggest (as you did previously) that all was well with promoters until this season shows that these are questions that are not well thought out at all. Now, do you actually have any that can provide some debate?
-
So are Aces, so are Wolves etc. Non have demanded a transfer for a rider they cant use. I take you are not including the winter of discontent? It was going pear shaped before that. I could give your post some thought if it was better thought out.

Perhaps do what promoters and fans do ---- accept that usually clubs help each other with loan deals as has been the norm for years now. Just a thought.

Dissertation Questionnaire- The Results
stevebrum replied to speedy19902006's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Bit of a generalisation. I see plenty trendy kids and adults at speedway meetings. They are probably in the minority tho. Not sure its as low as just 7%. Part of the image is to do with the product(s) that can be bought at most Speedway facilities. Or lack of variety (style) -
Like the BSPA always put up all the stuff thats gone on behind closed doors. Massive assumption either way. The twitter link you put up - Who is Andy Warren? A sports reporter who says in his own credits "all views are my own". Just another opinion.
-
Who says it hasn't been sanctioned!!
-
Or just speculation of one poster perhaps.

Interesting reading, a lot of it i expected in all honest. Put should be a good read for those running the sport. -
And that is an assumption, maybe it has been ratified?
-
Here we go again, the self obsessed `like` monitor.
-
Some people just protest too much The fictitious rule that others have mentioned and that Swindon appear to have used you mean?? It wasn't a rule I made up. It has been mentioned by others. As i have said, the BSPA will adapt the rules to suit anyway. Many other have been caught up (for and against) in the past and recent times. But all we have for now is that Swindon have declared straight after 1st March so the rule you say is fictitious seems the only believable thing at this moment in time.
-
Shame really. But cannot disagree with that at all.
-
I don't think they have backed themselves into any corner. The rules/counter rule/invented to suit rules will always mean they find a way out of it, no matter how daft it looks to the educated speedway public. The ruling at that time was (in my eyes) that if Swindon wanted to declare Batchelor in their line up then they needed to buy him. Now that March 1st has come riders not in clubs can (and should) be allowed to go on loan. Of course there apparently is no rule (according to some) that exists - yet it appears to have happened - assuming it is ratified!

Middleditch Must Go - New Gb Boss Needed
stevebrum replied to John Leslie's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Think that is what we all have to assume. He certainly isn't contesting it despite the lame `misquote ` remark. -
Says the poster who just quoted and replied themselves. Its nearly a post of yours that i liked.
-
You have a thing about people liking posts. Do not worry, you have no worries about me liking anything you are likely to come out with.

It is as expected. And i fully expect it to be a loan deal as previously stated. But of course Panthers fans will hang on to the fact until its cleared by the MC then they wont believe it and still be happy to see Batch prevented from racing in the UK. It is on the BSPA news page. What more do you want it as confirmed?! The manner of the move will be revealed in time no doubt. And thankfully we can welcome a rider that WANTS to race in the UK, let us applaud that.

It is yet to be seen if its the end of the behavour however. And when he has been allowed in New Zealand can we say its time to move on. -
Well he is the best Panthers asset i guess.
