Good point. The total has 8+1 but 2 wins and 2 lasts. -
Leicester v Oxford 27th May

Pretty dull watch with the odd decent heat but Leicester has never been a good race track. Oxford were pretty awful tho. Nothing magic about Janowski neither. -

Good win and bonus for the Brummies. Doyle probably would have got more than 8 and likely to have not been last in the super heat. Birmingham beat what was in front of them, so well done to them. -
King’s Lynn 2024 serious team predictions

Robert would go anywhere with a big pay check, he has already proven that. -
Clearly he couldn’t help himself. Being made to retract something is embarrassing.

2014

Piotr rode with Woffy not Freddie in 2014.
-
Disgrace Kurtz picking his meetings to ride in. Hopefully the Tigers will defend their advantage when racing resumes.
-
Agree, the precedent has been set. Emil, Laguta etc all came back or over on an 8. Same for Freddie. However they have been guessing and making it up for Birmingham this season.

Sheffield v Leicester 23rd May

It’s an amazing top 5. On paper. They just haven’t gelled and Fricke is one of the worst number ones. Not quite as bad as Oxford or Birmingham tho but not far off. -

Good draw from the Witches. And the bonus. -

I really rated this Lions side at the start of the season. They are all consistently inconsistent. Fricke a let down too. -

Good job it wasn’t raced on paper then. Janowski is worse than Milik. -

On paper Oxford should win by about 20. -

The Lions must and should be looking for a win here. They won’t have many better chances. A loss here and I can see them missing the play offs with opportunities like this. -
He averaged more than a point a ride , so definetly scored but obviously nothing like he would have been expected to.

Funnily enough there were quite a few sensible Cradley fans who vocally supported Wolves after they closed but again you had several Cradley fans (or Neanderthals) that used to turn up at every meeting cheering for the opposition and trying to pick arguments with Wolves fans. i remember them well. Each to their own I guess.

King’s Lynn vs Ipswich - Thurs 23rd May

Its true. Poland flexed there muscle again wanting Thursdays as a stand by day. They could have forced the extraliga riders whether to choose riding in the UK again. -
Well done the Stars scoring 42 without a number one but then the Aces aren’t the team they were last season. Very respectable showing from the Stars.
-
Oh I agree on that point. I think because he usually scores well everywhere some people must assume he is a genuine top heat leader. His scores have been littered with poor results for years hence why his average is below 7.
-
His average starting was 6.53 so riding below that.

Sheffield vs Ipswich 13th May

Tai always wants to appear cool, aloof and controversial. I get it. Whether it’s the right approach is a different matter. Either way, he has succeeded doing it his way and generally is the one the press and interviewers want to speak to the most. -

Tai is also known as being a proven multi world champion. Controversy is part of his make up as well it seems. Tai is a proven world champion multi times over, Emil is not. Tai is a loose cannon and controversial character at times but has earned that right. Emil can be as interview perfect as he wants, he is very popular. Being a good interviewer doesn’t earn him the kudos that Tai already has. -
Difference of opinion is ok. Thought he was on the cusp of the GPs 3 seasons ago, seems to have stalled or peaked. I still enjoy watching him race and a proper battler, not in the UK this year tho.
