  1. In today’s society it’s perfectly acceptable whether we like it or not. Its written in Tai’s language so I don’t see the issue, unless it’s aimed solely at the teen market which it isn’t.
  2. That was a brilliant night. Same here, only one I’ve been to.
  3. Couldn’t get tickets for Tai, so I assumed that sold out?
  4. Hey, no worries. It seemed assumed I would always do it! Thankfully others have stepped in and do a brilliant job. Absolutely correct. Which is why I said it’s great for our league that he or anyone of that ilk is back. You can be sure Nicki will get exactly the welcome he deserves when Sheffield are in town and he knows it. Nicki isn’t liked all leagues over (although probably not Danish league!) so is perfectly used to it and encourages it. Nicki is here for the pay check not to be liked. He has said before the booing only makes him more determined to win. Nicki knows that he isn’t liked at Wolves and he doesn’t care. That tells you all you need to know about the situation. Long history dating back to his first season with us as his parent club in 99. Let’s just say he made himself unpopular with many including his team mates. Plus he dislikes the Wolves fans as he said as much so the feeling is completely mutual.
  5. What a success he was. However that could be the very reason why he may miss out as he would likely start out as 1 or 2nd heat leader .
  6. I don’t think anyone does. By some fluke it will get the odd one right but that’s as rare as Nicki Pedersen riding clean.
  7. Missed my point completely. I’ve already said NP and any other top rider is great for British Speedway. It’s irrelevant when Wolves play Sheffield as that wasn’t what I said. I said I wouldn’t support a Wolves team with NP in. You have no idea how often I go. But thanks for outing one of your many aliases. I stopped texting 2 seasons ago because I had work on some Mondays so couldn’t commit. Doesn’t wipe out the many years of texting every week and often at away matches not even related to Wolves. No doubt you are one of those who slate people who bother to actually help Speedway updates on a regular basis. Maybe you could try and do something useful for a change? Just a thought.
  8. I’ll be asking several question at the next talk in so ŵill certainly ask about big names affecting attendance.
  9. Of course they would. He is proper box office material and most want the best British rider back racing in the UK. Plus it’s not rocket science, the more top riders in the top flight the bigger the crowds. Nicki will add to most turnstiles next year, that’s a great thing. Ditto Zmarzlik, Emil. Woffy would certainly add more thru the turnstiles, probably more than a rider past his best.
  10. Sure....... Schlein......... Rolling average 6.65 ............2019 7.04 Iversen ....... Rolling Average 7.54 ............ 2019 6.97 Lawson ..... Rolling average 5.78 ............. 2019 6.01 Cook ......... Rolling average 7.82 .............. 2019 7.70 Nicholls .... Rolling average 5.50 .............. 2019 5.33 As you can see some are better some are worse. A quick comparison of club websites averages and the official rolling averages will see besides a few exemptions that most riders averages from most clubs are all slightly different. Grading would bring a better reflection of ability than rolling averages currently do imho.
  11. The rolling averages are not accurate in the slightest. But at least give a representation of form over a much longer period.
  12. Woffinden would bring the fans back like no other.
  13. He would have to bang in 12 or 13 every week to convince the hardcore who don’t forget. I doubt we will ever see him in a Wolves race jacket again, and I for one couldn’t be happier. If he did it’s a season I’d happily miss.
  14. Attendances down more like. Quite a lot of regular Wolves fans can’t stick him. And the feeling is mutual apparently. id never support a team with him in it, pure and simple.
  15. I’d love it to be Freddie but I doubt it so I’m expecting Sam.
  16. If you read my posts widely I’ve been a big supporter of riders not using old outdated averages. Fairness for ALL riders and ALL teams. They continue to use it to suit so unless that changes I see no issue why Tai needs to be re-assessed if he wanted to come back, however you can be sure that the majority would vote against Wolves getting an advantage if he wanted to come back. Imagine the uproar If he was announced as our next signing. The forum would go into meltdown!
  17. Rightly so, I’m glad to hear it. Check his Polish average, if anything he needs an increase.
  18. First thing I thought when I saw the announcement. Well done to the BSPA by making all the rules clear in their statement....... not. Surprised that Troy is back with a potential exposed bottom end. Great for heats 13 and 15 tho. Must admit I’ve never seen or heard any comments from him saying he wasn’t coming back. Seems some have ruled him out without reason.
  19. Good news that Rory is back. 2 down then.
  20. Ryan is a great signing and can only get better at Monmore. Great start. Who will it be 2moro?
  21. Think he could be a top rider by now If he hadn’t had lost his visa and didn’t have to miss 2018.
