The fact that Ipswich were a top 4 side virtually all season long and made the Play Off Final it would suggest ambition isn’t lacking. Everyone wrote them off before a wheel was turned this year so it would be foolish to do the same again imho.
-
Splitting hairs anyway. Tracks will see an increase when Sheffield are in town.
-
The Pedersen factor will see Sheffield comfortably replace any shortcomings that Poole might bring.
-
As we’ve not seen the other 3 yet I wouldn’t totally rule them out. Think it’s a mistake to rule out Ipswich again as they comfortably made the top 4 this year before Iversen was signed. Id be careful ruling them out again. As for Wolves, makes no sense to build 2 points below limit but even still a decent side if the duo sign.
-
IF we are looking at similar teams to this season then Wolves will still be strong but would be outclassed by Swindon just like the play offs. IF it’s Masters And Thorssell as the last 2 then it’s well under the points limit despite looking solid and improvement throughout. However if Wolves have pulled off a top rider at number one that could make us front runners tho.
-
Now the top 7 is confirmed Swindon will start as massive favourites with a way stronger top 4 than Sheffield.
-
Who is missing Poole already? Nah me neither.
-
I’ll take all the credit then Bruno. But fair play to you although I’m pretty sure you are in a very small minority. Where I stand there are regularly Heathens fans who shout for the opposition. They hate us! I think Cradley fans would turn up to see Greg Although still wear their Heathens coats lol. For long-standing fans of both clubs there will never be another rivalry like it. So it’s hard for any newer fans to fully understand just how bitter that rivalry was. I never shouted once for Billy in those 2 years he was with us. He would be referred to as ‘the rider in blue’

Me too. It’s already been indicated he is likely to sign. He is a vital part of the future.
-
Because it’s not confirmed If he is or isn’t yet other than people posting he isn’t.
-
It’s all assumption at the moment. Its assumed both will be signing which goes against the usual team planning by building 2 points below the limit. So it’s fair to suggest one of them might sign with a stronger number one. Time will tell but at this stage nothing is certain, not to mere fans.

As previously discussed I’m only quoting what Rosco said last week who said it was ‘rubbish’ that Musielak wouldn’t be back.
-
If he said something in a Swindon programme then that might be different. Just quoting Rosco in last weeks speedway star saying it was ‘rubbish’. Exactly, he may come back. Rosco said so.
-
Some people really don’t do the simplest of things by reading for themselves.
-
You are at least 50% right.
-
Rosco says it’s rubbish that Tobias said he isn’t racing here next season.
-
It would only be bizarre if JT and SM sign. Looking forward to getting a clearer idea.
-
Wether it was a documented rule or not it was mentioned by some of the top flight promoters prior to the new season in interviews. Another of the many ‘it’s not really a rule but will do it anyway’ rules that that the committee seem to invent or ignore (delete as applicable)
-
That’s assuming that hasn’t changed! They said in the press release little had changed however its apparent they have dropped the 1 over 8 rule (Swindon) and no rider under 3 (Rowe).
-
One of if the points limit is to be reached. Not bothered which.
-
I thought the same about Pedersen . Worse average than either Masters or Thorssell and dreadful at Monmore. Looking at his average not great anywhere either.
-
It wasn’t hard was it?
-
You have to look at the likes of Zach Wajtknecht at Swindon, and some others in the championship who ‘retired’ early because their confidence was shot. I’m all for pushing youngsters at the highest level but it really can be a double edged sword.
-
I saw that photoshop too.
-
I’m not a fan either but if it’s a big name has to be good.
