And Holders ever declining average in the UK tells it’s own story too. Holder never liked Monmore despite him having the odd decent meeeting there. His general demeanour was he didn’t even want to try. That’s the mark of a rider who has poor attitude than anything else. The likes of Holder and KK have poor UK averages from a time when the standard of the league wasn’t strong as well.

whereas your statements change with every post, goal post changer.

In other words I’m not going to enter into a meaningful debate with someone who changes the goal post to suit. The original point that you replied to was quickly quashed by Steve0 who replied before I had chance to, which as expected exposes your comments and replies as Ill thought out at best but great for comedy value. Somethings never change, like your argument that Poole is a great track. Frankly laughable.
-
No worries. It will be a great shame if they let Swindon down but we have to believe they will deliver as promised.
-
Poole threads were always good value, comedy value anyway. RIP the comedy blue tints.

Thanks. I only ask because my dads neighbour commented that there is no mention of Wolves speedway in the new brochure. That’s reassuring then! The neighbours always use Parry’s and say how good they are.

I’m still baffled at the reason given for building 2 points under the limit. Lots were raving about Nicol last year and seemed destined for better things until he got injured so I can see why signing him was a good thing. However doing so at the expense of another potential 6 point rider (Nicholls a perfect example) seems beyond crazy still. On paper it’s still a team with great potential and keeping 6 of the 7 riders from a previous season that made the play offs should be applauded as a success but we probably could have been even stronger so makes little sense. I believe an argument put forward last nite from the management was that they weren’t sure if Nicol was going to be a 6 or 4 an odd one too. They seemed happy to include a rider really at a 4 point limit in the top flight (at a maximum right now) that could have even been a 6 and still would have taken the risk. It really appears that the Nicol signing has seen the management throw all their eggs in this basket that they would have still signed him even on a 6 which already is a huge risk. It means the emphasis is on the remaining team members to up their game which again whilst highly expected is putting more pressure to support the newest signing. Think there is great potential for improvement throughout but even still missing out the extra points seems a little crazy. On a separate note does anyone know if Parrys are still sponsoring next season? Apparently there is no mention of speedway in the new Parry’s brochure when there usually is??

And your history of moving the goal posts from the original comment I made makes any meaningful discussion redundant. As previously mentioned I stand by my comments, plus it seems you ignoring the movement of the goal posts means that you also dint understand how to reply to a post? That hole has always been big when trying to discuss Poole matters with you. Your goal changing is legendary and why I have no intention of giving your replies much importance.

Apologies, perhaps I should have made myself clearer. I was comparing only the parallel that work promised will be delivered. Obviously the NSS was a completely different ball game I get that. Its just when people try to question if what was provided as correct information is actually correct. I don’t see why it wouldn’t be. I know we are talking about different companies however note the caution of these people because of previous track records.

Kurtz, Wells, Auty, Pickering, or A N Other?
stevebrum replied to squall's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The stats were already done. Kurtz has the best Average at Sheffield. -
Trouble is come end of seasons those number ones prove they are worth bringing back because that’s the consistency required to win the title. Kurtz, Cook, Masters already have a higher average than Holder. Not according to final end of year averages for 2017

Aah ok, thanks for that info. Couldn’t remember him riding much PL but yea I’d say in general not PL standard. That said there are likely to be a few weak number 7s next season so he only has to beat his opposite number to improve. Think he is being more relied on to do well at Sheffield, which on paper he should be the strongest candidate. I too would have said Wells however after this season it’s a huge gamble.

6.86 from his last spell at Rye House.
-
Holder hasn’t been a number one standard here for several seasons tho now.
-
Still talking bull I see. So yet again you’ve changed from ALL to MOST. Neither of which I said. Keep digging, it’s not working.

CVS words not mine.

‘Looking forward to visiting the infamous toilets on back straight again in 2020 lol keep us informed.’ sounds mocking to me. Anyway Manchester delivered, so no reason why Swindon won’t do the same.
-
Does Todd have any experience in the top flight? If he has it’s very little. And nothing to write home about if so.
-
If there was ever a new facility that nobody believed would happen it was the NSS. These things take time just like it did in Manchester. Mocking about it is in very poor taste given how long the Aces pair were laughed at for suggesting it would happen. still, each to their own.

Hopefully more news will filter thru later on the news (I couldn’t make it time sadly). So far i heard that Hancock has been spoken too as the main news that’s filtered out so far.
-
It would be a very poorly iced cake if Holder was the big name.

And made huge strides years after leaving Poole despite being dead average in the top flight for years. Or are you now the 2nd person who said that Doyle was always likely to become a world champion? Changing the goal posts yet again. I didn’t say every rider, YOU did. I said ‘riders generally do improve when they move away from Poole’. It’s no wonder I’m not entertaining a serious discussion with you because you change the details to suit your argument. Something you are known for doing. Someone who can’t smell their own bull eh Lisa? Comedy gold all the same.
-
Hopefully some clues will be gained if it’s likely the expected duo or waiting on ‘someone’. I just hope I can make it tonight but might not be there till late so might just skip it if I can’t be there 8ish. Hopefully someone will put some info on tho anyway.
-
So you are now saying that you predicted Doyle was going to be a world champion when he was at Poole? Makes you the only one who believed it at the time. Lift up the blinkers. Is that his wife? Klindt most definitely has got better being at Poole. That’s a success story.

Great news for the Witches with Allen confirmed. Impressive rider who is only getting better.
