I agree our top flight has been at it it’s weakest in 2019 however the fact that big names like Pedersen And Kildemand are signed up for 2020 means next year will already be stronger. Can only hope more come back.

Masters won’t be left without a PL team spot tho, as Ippo, Lynn and Boro still have places to fill and you can be sure Masters, CVS and other clubs know what the situation is. However you look at it Masters will know he was 2nd choice because it’s been confirmed CVS spoke to Greg and Fred about the number one spot and I suspect others. Im sure Masters knows the plans for next season. In an interview in SS a few weeks ago he said he was hoping to have a top flight deal and hinted that nothing was confirmed so I think it’s clear he isn’t 1st choice which will either motivate him to do better or make him resent Wolves. Either way unless we get a major shock I too expect Masters to be re-signed.

I still think it’s a decent side, but could have been better by using the extra 2 points. -

We must read different social media then. Dont get me wrong I still think it’s a decent side that’s been suggested if Masters signs however it’s plain crazy to waste 2 points in team building. -

Has to be the worst number one signing in history in the UK top flight league. His press interview comes across as not being interested in the UK because it’s not enough money. That offer was probably more than he deserves anyway. Just who has been ‘raving’ about Wolves? I’ve not seen many positive posts about the proposed line up only howls of derision by potentially building to 2 points lower than the points limit. As for NP, I won’t be surprised if he ends up to averaged rider at end of the year. That’s what opinions are all about. -
Interesting interview with Sam in the speedway star a few weeks ago saying he was hoping to have a PL club as he is giving up on Sweden. Seems like Sam was always the back up if we couldn’t tempt a number one. I’m assuming he will be the final announcement, unless of course the management have been bluffing all along. Time will tell I guess.

I’d imagine yes they are. Someone can’t let it go. I was so over it a week ago.
-
The reason he responded was because you asked for examples, it’s pretty simple. But then you wouldn’t get that would you. No surprise. I knew it wouldn’t be long before you showed your true colours. Reported as well. Only you could comment on someone posting all the time whilst doing the same. Thanks for outing yourself.

I’m expecting Becker.

You said ‘like?’ to my original comment and Steve0 beat me to answering some obvious ones. You then said not all them count. So you were given riders that have but you continued to change the goal posts and say they don’t count. What would be the point in going over all the names that have improved for you to so they don’t count. Priceless comment. I’ll be changing nothing because you change the goal posts every time you posted about it. As previously stated it’s not a scientific fact I’ve quoted, just an opinion. You still won’t admit you kept changing the goal posts anyway. First it was ‘these riders don’t count, too young, would have got better anyway right thru to the huge mistake of saying I said EVERY rider. If you had a credible defence or argument I might have played ball with you. Its a redundant argument now anyway. You have to pity the poor CL fans who have to put up with this constant blue tinted rubbish every day. I still chuckle at the line you said about Ryan Douglas likes to ride at Poole because it’s a good track. Comedy gold mostly every time.

I feel no need to admit anything. If Lisa wants to continue changing the goal posts to replies already made. She asked for examples, some were given but said they don’t count. so it’s pointless if it’s some, all, every, a few. You can be sure even If I’d said “I can think of 3 riders who improved after leaving Poole” her response would still be the same - they don’t count. So it’s been a pointless argument for over a week now, until some who only read half of the point decide to join in and open it up again.
-
She would make more sense yes I agree. Well that’s it in a nutshell.
-
Yet has continued to be at the higher end of the averages in Poland despite that decline. I cant believe I’m defending a rider I detest.
-
Makes no difference in the big scheme of things Pedersen signing in the UK is a massive coup and only strengthens that genuine list to 3, 4 if you add in Kildemand.
-
What a surprise that you would pipe up. So it will be the usual I’m always right posts from now on till you think you win. The point of the quoted points was to show why I can’t take Lisa’s comments seriously when she changes the goal posts to suit any reply. You can choose to accept my original point or not. It’s not a scientific fact that’s for sure.

Happy to disagree, thankfully averages back up my claims. -
I take it you forgot about Pedersen?

Jacob has had 2 ruined seasons with injury. Masters went backwards this year but still forward on 4 years ago. So it’s fair to suggest both still improved after 4 years. -
Here was my original comment. A ‘general’ comment that doesn’t state most. You asked for examples. These were 3 examples that got posted before I could add. 3 examples given yet you don’t accept those as ‘proper’ examples. Doyle wasn’t young. Again, another goal post changer. Perfect example of what was asked. More lies and made up info. No one EVER said every rider. Only Lisa. As previously discussed I’m not going to bother wasting my time researching averages because all you will do is not accept names put forward, make excuses because they might or might not have improved, say they are too young etc blah de blah. You make stuff up (every rider) and then ignore examples. I’ve no intention of wasting my time on this because you want to prove a point. You already lost the point by ignoring examples given. Hopefully this nonsense will get the thread close ASAP. Not before yet another blue tint response.

As averages have proved stats don’t lie. Masters 3 out of 4 seasons improved. Thorssell 2 out of 4. -

You make a fair point obviously! Some are trying to use just one variable as an excuse, which of course it isn’t. Jacob had a huge increase in the PL from 2016 -2017. To suggest he hasn’t improved in 4 seasons is quite plainly crackers! -

Even tho it would appear to be weaker there have still been quality riders join our league in the most recent years. Such as Woryna and Milik who came back in low averages but were already making big strides abroad. Greg (Poole) and Tai (Wolves) have also made appearances. Obviously I’d prefer we encourage more top riders back which would have a positive knock on in attendance and there is no bigger supporter of a stronger league than me. Next year WILL be stronger because NP is back, no arguing. So obviously I completely agree with your point. Therefore I find it hard to agree with those who comment that riders don’t improve and use a weaker league as an excuse. Doyle’s average should be nearly 12 each season if we use the logic of others! -

Stop using the 4 year combined average as a reason. Dress it up how you want. masters improved his average for 3 years running from 2016-2018 - how has that not improved at all? Using your same argument Doyle should increase his average every year because the league has weakened. Has he? You can’t use one reason for not increasing (weakened league) without the other variables such as injury etc. Masters went from 7.08 to 8.11 from 2016 - 2018. That’s over a point increase. So that’s no improvement at all? Very odd way of looking at things. -

Clearly the average over 4 years has increased for both so this no improvement statement is still false. Dress it up all you want, Masters improved year on year for 3 straight seasons, but not this. It’s hard for anyone to argue different. Jacob as previously pointed out hasn’t improved in 2 seasons (from his average of 2017). -
If you only caught part of it then you don’t know what the point is. She suggested that it will be a struggle to name any riders that have and straight away names were given. She then changed the goalposts to ask for more names. Unless you’ve read the whole thread then best not comment. I’ve no intention in getting into yet another pointless discussion about this. Whether my original comment is right or wrong, Lisa won’t accept that she got it wrong that no one could name any riders. It’s pointless getting into a debate with someone who changes the goal posts with every post. The facts are she said I’d struggle to name any and names have been mentioned but won’t accept she was wrong. Anyway, it’s beyond juvenile and about time this thread was locked or moved to the CL.
