  1. That to me is pretty much obvious. Yet you still get people (mostly Aces fans I’d imagine) still maintaining Bewley will be the better rider. An assumption based on no real facts at all. If Bewley can equal the efforts already achieved by Lambert then he will have done very well. Nothing to indicate that will be the case tho. Be great if he does tho!
  2. Years? Robert is one year older. Bewley has stalled since his injury so unless he is able to get back on track with his potential then he can’t even be compared to the level Lambert has and is already achieving. lets hope for the future of GB he does tho.
  3. Plech I hardly saw but don’t think many would argue with that! Id put Zmarzlik 2nd right now tho.
  4. Gollob was a great rider that’s true. Still the best Polish rider of all time to me.
  5. Every meeting I’ve watched this season so far Zmarzlik has looked very ordinary.
  6. I don’t get why the commentators said it was a controversial decision. Michelsen was already ahead and cornering, Woryna completely lost his place and run out of room by his own fault. Michelsen didn’t do anything wrong so it was an easy decision for me.
  7. Lambert is looking the real deal this year. I assume people have stopped saying Bewley is the same level now tho.
  8. Aah thanks, hadn’t seen that. Well that clears it up!
  9. Any thoughts on who the rider who might not be back this year according to the recent update? Nicki P still on board as I’d assumed it would be him.
  10. Nasty crash and Lambert had done all the hard work. Looks dreadful. I’d assume Lambert excluded?
  11. Has Turowski learned his skills from Nicki? He is like a kamikaze pilot. dreadful team riding from Milik and Woryna.
  12. Lambert is looking super quick this year. Not many keep Laguta honest when he gets away.
  13. Think it’s now been made invisible to Facebook so that they don’t get swamped with invites. You may need to get added by a Facebook member now who already is a member. plus you need to be a friend of that person. im watching it on the group page now.
  14. But that’s surely his and Artem’s choice. They weren’t forced I’m sure.
  15. Huge learning curve for the lad but it will help if people stop presuming he will be GP standard within 2 years (as previously discussed from discussions on social media) and let him grow naturally with no added pressures. Lambert is miles ahead of Bewley all over. Not sure why anyone feels a need to compare them. There is no comparison right now. Or should be.
  16. Don’t get me wrong. My response is to pretty much anyone that thinks Bewley is already the better prospect which I’m seeing a lot on social media even after his dismal showing on Friday. It’s more a reality check that some say he will be in the GPS before Robert. I couldn’t be any more happier we have riders in Poland which can only be a great thing for our future. Obviously Robert has more experience, he is older! but both still have a mass of growth in them so we should be applauding both. And I definitely fall into that category to be clear.
  17. Great to see, while Bewley struggled to score a single point on Friday. With some one Facebook saying Bewley will be better than Lambert. Time will tell. Great to see England’s next great hope starting so well.
  18. But are free to watch on Facebook on ‘continental speedway’ page on reliable and ad free links. It’s well worth joining the page for the links alone.
  19. Nothing ‘blinkered’ at all. Asking riders to quarantine before they ride is perfectly fine. No issue with that. Asking riders to sign contracts (as mentioned by some of the riders) that say they CANNOT ride in any other country is the kind of thing we have become used to by the Polish Authorities. If this is allowed to happen then this action could see the closure of some teams in other countries. That cannot be allowed to happen. Id imagine if any rider challenged the contract the authorities would be laughed out of court. Now for the reality check. We know other countries have yet to get a start date so technically have no hold over any riders. That said each governing body has the absolute right to expect their own riders to stay loyal to their respective nations clubs. You can’t blame them, as they doing precisely what the Poles are doing. So if it’s good for then it’s good for other nations. There is this assumed idea that no other nation will get to see Speedway this year so Poland should be allowed to do what they want. Really? I’ve seen mentioned that this 2nd wave of infections will put paid to any action in the UK. If this is assumed are we then assuming Poland would be immune because they are a Speedway super power? I think not. You cannot blame the riders for going to Poland to earn a living, I certainly don’t. Riders should be free to choose if they want to ride elsewhere if and when it’s safe to do so and hopefully the riders will do just that when the time comes.
  20. The UK will be in the same situation as Sweden who must be in an even worse situation as they have lots of Poles usually filling their team spots.
  21. Ooops updated. Also to include Kurtz and Lidsey who are confirmed for ZG.
