  1. Masters I agree should be, but wasn’t last season. (2019)
  2. Cook is head and shoulders above everyone at CL usually. Crump is the only one likely to even match him at that level.
  3. It’s the gift that, sadly, keeps on given. Next it will be telling us that the winner of the Play Offs are the champions. Talk about king of stating the obvious.
  4. You replied to my original post, not the other way. I’m not dealing with a troll. I thought you asked a valid question at first but I realise you were just trolling for responses. At least we’ve cleared that up. I assumed it was the same one. The forum has to have one troll. Now I know I can take no notice of its posts. id had 5 months away from the forum and I mistakenly thought people like this will have grown up or moved on. At least I know.
  5. I’ve got what you are about. Trolls do what trolls do. you asked a question, I gave you the answer. Yet I’m the saddo. Barking logic.
  6. Most normal people would be too embarrassed to reply to a post making them look silly. still, I answered the questions you posed. You don’t have to thank me.
  7. Thanks for confirming your status as I predicted. Thanks for proving you are incapable of reading a basic message. Stated ive seen the changes at Leicester last year, was there for an amateur practise session. So yes I’ve seen the Covid ready changes. I said Ipswich were due to run the British final WITH fans when it got switched to belle vue without fans at the last minute. BV run the meeting under Covid regulations which is exactly what Ipswich would have done WITH fans. You are incapable of understanding what another poster posts, but you show yourself up with your incapabilities. Name calling is what kids in playgrounds do, are you really that juvenile?
  8. Ipswich was going to have fans, until the government pulled the plug. Tickets were sold out for the event, You posed the question that tracks like Wolves wouldn’t be ready to allow fans in. It’s quite clear you aren’t very good with sticking to facts. still, you’ve been corrected that tracks are ready. No doubt you will have some nonsense reply. Totally clueless.
  9. Read posts properly before you reply and call someone a numpty. I’ve already stated where I’ve seen it and seen a stadium ready to welcome fans last year. Stadiums are ready now, it’s only you that seems to think the opposite. As already stated Belle Vue held a meeting, the one Ipswich were meant to WITH fans last year. Do you think promoters wouldn’t have known how to stage meetings with fans? You are in your own with this by the sounds of it. Clubs are ready to go. You would have to be foolish to think they aren’t.
  10. The main issue for me is that we’ve had plenty of promising youngsters come thru the past 15 years however either those riders lacked the ambition to get into Europe to progress further and settled quickly for a comfortable life of doubling up in the UK or the governing body of the UK has no plan to progress it’s youth riders. Or, most likely a combination of the two. My own opinion is that riders need that drive to push for places abroad as it’s the only way to measure if they can turn that promise into reality so riders like Tai, Robert were always likely to succeed and it’s good to see riders like Rowe, Kemp, Ellis already getting team spots.
  11. I can’t remember the total amount but I know certain sports received money, the bigger amounts to the usual suspects. edithttps://www.gov.uk/government/news/government-announces-300-million-sport-winter-survival-package-to-help-spectator-sports-in-england
  12. There is no point arguing with stupid. If you don’t know what being ‘Covid ready’ is then you are clearly on the troll. ive seen the hard work put in at Leicester, for example, and it’s pretty clear tracks are ready to go. Your own club even run a Covid ready meeting last year, I’m sure someone involved would tell you what that entails. To the rest of the sensible speedway fans it’s pretty obvious what Covid ready means, plus come May government advice will be much clearer as to what extra steps, if any, club bosses and fans will be clear what the advice is.
  13. Exactly, all the tracks would be ‘Covid ready’. Seems only GAH doesn’t think so.
  14. Leicester have, Scunthorpe have, Ipswich have, Plymouth have...... do you get where I’m going yet? I’m guessing no.
  15. So you think that because tracks were closed no activity took place? Dear oh dear. Lots of clubs up and down the land have a plan for re-opening. No doubt you will disagree on something that is obvious to anyone with a brain.
  16. I do, you clearly haven’t seen the work some tracks have been putting in during the summer and Autumn.
  17. All tracks will be ready if necessary plus people have had 12 months of social distancing, I think most people will be able to safely distance from others. Not an issue these days.
  18. I’m not sure what it was based in, but I know the bosses were disappointed at being ignored by the government when grants were handed out.
  19. The problem usually is that any Brit in the recent past that showed any resemblance of talent was over hyped. We now have kids coming thru that WANT to ride in Poland as they know that’s exactly where they need to be to progress. Kemp seems to be seen as a talent in Poland, of course he will have to work harder to prove he can mix it with the other young Poles but like I said he has natural talent so certainly has the ability to break big. What the next generation need to do is have a clear pathway thru the leagues, ditch the 2nd tier after 3 seasons and concentrate on the top flight and Europe if they really want to go to another level. None of the youngsters will progress much further by staying in the UK for the majority of their career, hence why we’ve been at an all time low up to the past couple years ago.
  20. All tracks will be ready for social distancing if required. They’ve had 12 months to be ready.
  21. All tracks are ready for it. However I doubt social distance will be enforced after June.
  22. I don’t know how professional speedway can be classed as ‘elite’ given that the sport received nothing from the government whilst other sports that ARE elite did. Speedway appears to be classed as semi professional so should be fighting their corner to start earlier with crowds.
  23. They started with 2 surprises that no one saw coming so would be excellent for the last one to be another one. It makes you wonder why the BSPA were so against them joining for the past couple of seasons. They have been a breath of fresh air and excitement to British season for, hopefully, the new season. Some of the more established promotions could learn a thing or two from the Plymouth promotion.
