Bringing an injured rider back into the declared 1 - 7 seems perfectly legal to me, the timing of course is a different issue. Sadly the Lambert situation has opened a can of worms to allow ringers being brought in just for the play offs to win the title.
-
But it’s in fact an upgrade because he will score more than 0 or 2.
-
Becker was declared in the 1-7 and got injured. He is back in the 1-7 declared line up. Perfectly legal. Using a ringer just for the play offs outside the transfer window (which was why it got rejected first time) has never been allowed before yet suddenly it is. Yea, perfectly within the rules (depending who asks of course).

So Becker is back in the declared 1-7 as of yesterdays new declared line ups, which makes the announcement of Nicholls as a temporary signing all the more odd. Of course it now makes the use of Harris as a guest as perfect sense yesterday. https://britishspeedway.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/p23_issue_4.pdf

Becker is back in the declared 1-7 from yesterdays new averages so it’s absolutely correct we use a guest with a 7 point average.
-
Can see any team winning with there with the current 1-7 in fairness.
-
We will probably score nearly 60 again. :-))

Opened in different browser thanks. So no Rob Lambert or Lindgren as rumoured. And no Pedersen so looks like he is gone.
-
That’s what I tried. I’ll try again in different browser. Thanks.

Should be a comfortable away win.

Seems to add fuel to the fire as suggested on here.

Is it opening for anybody?

But replacing a 7+ rider who will be back on that average when fit. The point remains tho why Harris guested for Becker/Nicholls. -

Very confusing looking at different Apps, I can’t make my mind up which is better! Would have considered travelling to BV for the morning but if it’s going to rain not worth the effort. -

Great, not. One of only 3 chances for me to visit the Green this season. -
If I was a Stars supporter I’d say even a NL rider is a better option than KK right now. Worrall would be a significant improvement on what they have.
-
If he doesn’t appear tomorrow there might be truth to the rumours on here.
-
Or Coventry fan…….. Or Birmingham fan……… Or really anyone that watches British Speedway.
-
Taxi for KK surely. Why anyone thought it was risk worth taking needs their heads examining.
-
Looks a fairly easy routine home win. 55-35. Early results can often spring a surprise so Lynn fans will be hoping it’s a score reversal!
-
His 2 league matches at BV he scored 3 and 2. Awful.
-
KK might get double more than Monday.
-
On the back of a very poor year for him in 2022, even at the Green not as good as usual. But yes, started the season in fine form. Scotts TV commitments won’t start till end of this month for GP’s and mid May for the league so I’m sure he is ok and happy with short term signing. Appears to suit both parties.
-
Nicholls is nearly 2 points lower so it’s a weakening on paper. Thankfully he has started the season on fire and should be great value at MG, I just worry about him away from the Green. Id have still gone with guests away from home but I guess with other clubs racing we might not get the rider we would prefer.
-
That long? You have to hope it’s a one off. However this is KK we are talking about, the most sacked rider in British league history. Great win for Wolves despite being considerably weakened by guest signing. Fair play to Nicholls tho on bagging a max!
