  1. Personally for me a rider that shows loyalty to the British leagues deserve more respect. Yes, I’m all for all the top boys being back in the UK top league and if the pay was good they would be it’s that simple. Take Lambert last season, purely here for the glory and just the play offs. Great to have him racing here but I have no respect for him or the Aces for that move. Great to have Woffy back absolutely. I’m no fan of Doyle but he deserves more respect for choosing the UK as one of his main leagues season after season. Any top rider back in the UK we should applaud however some are only here for glory/convenience/other clubs out the play offs/ extra pay check etc. Woffy is a GB legend and our greatest ever rider. He is only here for a few matches tho.
  2. Temporary signing. He isn’t committed to British speedway anymore so completely irrelevant.
  3. Decent in Poland, looks not great elsewhere it seems. I got that wrong. but great win for the boys.
  4. Panthers win I reckon. Think the new Pole will be in double figures.
  5. Sad news for Dave Parry. Has been a very successful business for many many years.
  6. That’s the point. Some are trying to say it only happens at Monmore whereas it’s common place at every track for those reasons you perfectly explained.
  7. Exactly! All clubs have fans that do that.
  8. Exactly. The truth is Monmore is no different to any other track. Some fans will always cheer or boo a fall. I’ve heard it at every track I’ve visited.
  9. Dress it as you want, it’s always a minority. Aces fans are one of the worst for booing incidents. My point precisely.
  10. Standard minority behaviour at every track. Ditto a minority at every track. Particularly at Belle Vue.
  11. Wolves need to bounce back from the heavy defeat at the NSS whilst the Witches need not to lose at home again. Could be a nail bitter as Wolves have riders that do well at Foxhall. Im going with 44-46 more in hope.
  12. Phil needs to address the SCB statement and call for an investigation otherwise the transparency that he seeks will never happen.
  13. This is why the SCB statement is total nonsense. Wolves released there meeting preview Sunday afternoon with Bomber in as a guest so it’s irrelevant when the programmes where printed. Its now pretty much common knowledge that Artem was never going to ride at Wolves, the Wolves Sunday press release confirms that. Why oh why are the SCB making themselves look foolish given what is already known in the public domain? Those in power stink.
  14. Decent meeting. Vadim as expected is making a mockery of his average and hopefully will stay loyal to British speedway next season. Heat 12 was stunning. Always enjoy watching the racing at the Showground.
  15. Because he rode in Poland an hour after it was announced he was injured. The stench of the bs continues.
  16. I’m sure if the Aces ask again it would be allowed. We know rules are bent to suit them. titter titter. It’s a joke for all the sensitive Aces fans btw.
  17. All divisions have teams that have a win at all costs mentality. The NL less so these days. it’s not just the top flight that do it.
  18. Track staff are told not to touch the bikes due to health and safety. In saying that I’ve helped take a bike back to the pits with another track member using a rack thru the wheel.
  19. Birmingham is likely to go the same way as Wolves if you look at their 2024 greyhound schedule which includes Wednesday evening races. The greyhound 2024 schedule already confirms Wednesday is now a greyhound night.
  20. Like I said I didn’t see any Wolves fans commenting on CVS and PA.
  21. It’s fun to look back and see people write teams off before a wheel is turned. Always looked good enough for a top 4 spot.
  22. Great result for the Wolves, a 2nd time running the boys have 5-1’d Doyle and Emil.
