Nice to see young Dan's form continuing after his decent score at Belle Vue and his good performance in the under 21 final, as for Riss he don't get no better even against the league's whipping boys.

Leicester vs Kings Lynn 17/7/23

If Laguta tried as hard as Emil there wouldn't be a problem, he's very much a gating tart and doesn't very often chase down and pass people, whereas Emil rides his heart out every race, I'd have Emil over Laguta everyday of the weak personally. -

Apart from riding on his home track at Peterborough and away at Belle Vue his scores ain't been great away from home, mainly 4 or 5 points when he rode at Sheffield, Leicester and Ipswich, and none off them are no where near as tight and technical as the Wolves track. -
Nah i think Hawkins has a hospital appointment to remove that chip off his shoulder, either that or to get a personality transplant
-
Looks like Batch has joined Leicester so he ain't no longer an option as a poss change
-
I'm sure Riss rolling average was below 6 up to June 13th and will only drop more by end of the month the way he's riding currently.

Ipswich v Belle Vue 13th July

Agree entirely with that but sadly never gonna happen, what are the actual issues between Nicholls and Ipswich, heard numberous times he'd never ride for them again whenever his name was mentioned over the last few seasons. -

Riss needs replacing and should of been stood down wks ago, like been said his poor form puts more pressure on Rew and the reserves, would Batch fit for Riss, just asking -

Hume should be beating Bailey at home really, and yet again King went missing later in the meeting, less said about Riss the better. -

Hope im wrong i but can't see anything other then another Belle Vue win, their reserves are stronger on paper and Wright/Lindsey are more than a match for Riss/King, Emil/Doyle should hopefully out score Bewley/Kurtz but need the the remaining 5 riders to come to the party. -
Same here, Riss has never really scored well regularly in the 1-5, probably worth the risk in reserve berth.
-
Personally think after last night it's all over, Ipi have been poor on the rd all season and none to convincing at home generally and the other 4 teams are all stronger on paper 1-7.
-
Nowt, but it's the taking part that counts
-
Connor Bailey is the new Belle Vue RS so he's no longer available anyway.
-
I wouldn't be surprised if Bailey don't sign for Belle Vue to replace the injured Jake Mulford, ive also chucked his name out there for Ipi but for some reason their happy keeping it in the family with the Thompson twins thus far.

King's Lynn Vs Sheffield 06.07.23
kevin bass replied to StarBoy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
It's the material used that puts a lot of the the riders off, im sure it's been said that Chapman uses a clay based mixture rather then just shale at both Lynn and Peterborough and it creates a very grippy track so it seems, the main problem is most of today's riders don't like it heavy and grippy and can't ride a grippy track with confidence, Loram and Screen from yesteryear would have a field day and revel in the conditions, a bit like Harris does now at times, but not the majority of today's gating tartsplus the rocket ships they ride nowadays are so much harder to ride compared to bikes of a few years back if the track ain't smooth and slick and prepared just so. -
