He's yet another gating tart tho tbf, plus he ain't overly keen when the tracks are wet/heavy or not well prepared. -

Wouldn't want that jumped up little s*#t at Foxhall, he's no better then a moaning faced Aussie, one sure way to bring the team morale down. -

Sadly none of the 3 Danes we've named will be a patch on Doyle. -

If it is Harris and Masters then i hope they perform better on Thurs then they did when they rode for Oxford and Leicester respectively on their visits to Foxhall so far this season, and hopefully Ellis is fully fit if he does make a return coz if not it could be a lot closer second leg -

Just caught up with the meeting on BSN, was expecting Ipi to keep it close at best and not come away with a win, off night for Scotty but didn't really matter as Blodorn and Rew rode really well and better then i expected, even young Hodder didn't disgrace himself and was on the pace, now trying to think when was the last time 3 riders scored 40 points between out of a team total of 46. -

You sure it ain't Freddy Hodder and not Freddy Lindgren -

Luckily Chris Louis don't think like the promoter up the rd at Lynn coz if he did he'd of pulled a fast one and got the meeting cancelled coz of rider shortage, which tbf would've been a valid reason with the side being put out tonight, Scotty, Blodorn and R/R is bad enough as it is instead of Doyle, Ellis and King, and no disrespect to young Hodder but he ain't a patch on Dan with the form he's been in this season, Ipi only hope is they keep it as close as poss for the return leg on Thurs which then again will be a guest fest -

Problem is if Adam comes back to quickly will the shoulder issue he has keep reacuring, he had the same issue pre season in Oz unless it was the other shoulder, we all remember the problems Doyle had with his shoulders keep dislocating until he had surgery to finally sort it out properly. -
Exactly that, most if not all Polish track's are prepared the same and made for throttle jockeys, pin the throttle and hold on pretty much, they ain't technical and varied tracks like you find in the UK and also have to ride in difficult conditions at times.

It said on another thread that he pulled out coz of illness after 2 rides, shame for the lad being under 21 final, hope he's fit for tomorrow up at Brum coz he's been riding really well all season. -

Totally agree, Scotty is fine guesting at home but not the answer as Doyle's long term replacement, don't think even a top GP rider will cover what Doyle brings to the team wk in wk out, another issue is how long will Ellis be out for, i see talk of King being back for British Final. -

Scotty still a class act at 46, yeah he can struggle round the bigger tracks but can still hustle it round Foxhall and the smaller tracks like a rider half his age, shame he couldn't of been tempted back to Foxhall for one last season b4 he finally calls time on a fine career. -

I'd happily settle for a rain off if the weather's a bit iffy coz tbf this meeting could go either way result wise with Ipi missing 3 riders, Scotty, Batch and R/R won't cover the usual return from Doyle, King and Ellis round Foxhall and most if not all the Leicester riders get round Foxhall well generally. -

I'm 15 miles away Bury St Edmunds side n it's hissing down atm -
Tbf to Drew he's a much different rider if he makes the gate compared to when he doesn't, watched him round Ipswich plenty of times and normally couldn't pass no one if he didn't gate, haps Leicester are thinking Cook can mix it more than Drew if he doesn't gate.

King’s Lynn vs Ipswich - Thurs 23rd May
kevin bass replied to SamKM91's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Hope Doyle isn't to badly hurt, not heard nothing official regarding suspected broken arm, good to see Emil finally showing the form he showed last year, also to me Rew should be doing better riding at reserve. -

If Lynn have many more alleged rain offs they might end up being the first club to finish the season on minus points -

You can't plz all the ppl all of t time hey, n tbf i suppose most long term speedway fans are shall we say getting on in their years and back in the day the riders used t pretty much race on anything and saw many a meeting raced on a soaking wet track, even if the track was waterlogged out would come the bags of sawdust and away we go jobs a good un -
Zager wasnt a number 1 last season when the league was a weaker league than it is this year, and he mainly only scored decent points round Belle Vue, was hit and miss away from home.
