Like i posted earlier if the fanbase was 80% under 40's then haps they'd be up to speed with Facebook, Twitter and various club/speedway websites, but it's the other way round and the fanbase is probably 80% over 60/70's and the majority of them don't use social media or even know what it is or how to actually use it.

I see a couple of ex Newcastle riders are in the wars, had a video flash up on my phone of a crash involved Rene Bach/Nicki Pedersen from 18th May, think Bach has a broken Femur and Pedersen has broken Ribs and a punctuated Lung according to early reports

With speedway having mostly an ageing fanbase social media ain't really summit they actually use or even know how to use, that's most of the problem, my parents are both in their early 80's and wouldn't have a clue about which websites to use for information, best they would do is ring the track and hope someone actually picks up the phone.

On the subject of females in the sport, sad to about Sophie Blake's (Scott Nichols ex) health issues in this wks speedway star.

A women commentating on football is as bad, it just don't sound right to me, im not sexist and diversity is fine but for me it's a no no, I'd rather watch to match with the mute button on

Yeah i thought the 3 of them worked well in their rolls and that being said im sure Kelvin in time will grow into the lead commentary roll, and like you mentioned i think Scott is better suited being in the pits/trackside then stuck in the studio as previous yrs.

After hearing Rosco co-commentating on Tuesdays match on the streaming channel im not sure who comes across more of a numpty, Rosco or Sam

I'll have to go round and see what their doing coz their both telling me they just hit the home button on the handset at end of each match and return to normal TV and don't touch the sign out symbol, god knows what's going on but i know it's a right pain

Has anyone had problems with login in/out, why i ask is because i always leave my parents signed in as they have trouble as their elderly using their TV handset to fill in their email address n password, they just refresh the page when they want to start viewing a match, anyway they went to watch the stream last night and they were signed out even tho they hadn't signed out after watching last wks match, it's twice now that it's happened, i don't mind as i only live 5 mins away so not far for me to go to sort it out for them, just strange that it does it.

Mr Heeps is wasting his talent that he certainly has or had, but it's about him being more professional and taking speedway seriously, when he came into the 2019 season with the Witches he was as fit as a fiddle coz had been training with Scotty and a few others close and pre season, sadly since then he's piled the weight on every close/pre season and come back looking unfit and overweight, Heeps and Danny King are probably the same height give or take an inch or 2 but Heeps probably tips the scales a stone or 2 heavier, you carry more weight you have less speed in general.
