I'm sure he pissed off most people last time he was at Ipi and even moaned about the track, but haps he's changed over the last few yrs........ hopefully
-
Yeah remember Kerr dint last long when he was at Foxhall a few yrs ago, dunno what's happened to him this season coz he always was sharp from the gate, haps he's had one crash to many and lost his edge.
-
Maybe one of his 3 other teams season is over as they ain't reached the play offs so he's now available to ride over here for the final couple of months.
-
Are the rumoured changes actually happening tho, not heard nowt official from the club or are they just waiting on BSPA approval.
-
I didn't think Tungate was flavour of the month at Foxhall, but haps times have changed.
-
I also read somewhere he was based over in Poland this season or now but dunno if it's fact or not, if so it's probably better for him to just ride over there then keep flying back and forth over here, and i bet even the Polish junior League pays more then he got here point money wise.
-
I'm sure he has been dropped by both his British teams or left off his own back and riding only in the junior Polish league.

Any news on what injury Ben picked last night, not seen nowt mentioned, certainly makes them weaker down at reserve if Ben is out for a while. -

As above won't start 7, mind you you should have a screen with a timer counting down till start time. -
Master Bates always found a way to be named as one, so in the best interest for speedway haps Lambert could be added to the list
-
People moan about Lambert but im sure he'd score more points then others mentioned like Shanes/Clegg.
-
Don't know what average any of the riders mentioned ie Tungate, Thomsen and Lambert are currently on.
-
Was just going by some gossip on the Newcastle thread where the rumour is he's now signed off from the Doctors and ready to return but doesn't wanna ride for Newcastle again, you can't beat a good rumour

Peterborough haps

BWD maybe
-
Well i was going by his starting average on the Belle Vue thread which was 8.70 but don't know what his current average is to be fair.
-
Jack Smith may well be a heat leader in the National League and he should be able to score a few more points then George but you can't compare him to other heat leaders in that League, he won't score the points that Edwards, Jenkins and the Thompson twins will score that's for sure.
-
Yeah but it's getting the riders to ride for any given club for a season that's the problem, you'll always have guests for injuries and alike and their probably more then happy to pick up guest bookings to supplement their income, im just saying you wouldn't be having the current situation if the riders were spread about more evenly but it ain't gonna happen, they tried that one or two 8 point rider per team rule in the top league a few seasons back but that just made riders manipulate their averages at the end of the season so that they finished the season just shy of 8 points and made them more in demand.
-
The sadly ain't enough riders who want to ride over here and the ones that do will ride where they want to ride and no doubt chase the best money available, in an ideal world the top riders would be spread evenly cross the clubs and each club have 2 big hitter/heat leaders but that's never going to happen so you get the situation like we have now, Poole a Leicester have 3 big hitters and teams like Newcastle and Birmingham can't even get one let alone a couple.

Would of been better bringing Danny Phillips back

King's Lynn v Ipswich 09/06
kevin bass replied to Bald Bloke's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Hope Danny King has a better night at Lynn then he did 2night for Poole, 4 points from 3 completed rides plus a retirement, thought he'd turned the corner with his 8 points from 4 rides at Belle Vue the other night.
