Yeah yeah coz u did, you only "forgot" as you put it coz no one with any current Poole connection was riding, if there was you would be over this thread like a rash and posting after every heat, and silly me i "forgot" you'd "forget" as in your eyes any Speedway that doesn't include Poole or an attached rider ain't worth commenting or watching.

Ipswich vs Sheffield Thursday 12th June
kevin bass replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Like been said i think Thompson is more of a miss then Doyle the Dan's been riding this season, R/R or a decent guest would hopefully cover Doyles at home but no one who's replaces Dan has scored anything like he would score at Foxhall or away. -

I dunno if Mountain is any better or worse then Hume or Lambert tbf, Mountain couldn't get on with Foxhall when he was a Ipi rider yrs back, haps he'll find it easier to get round as the shape of the track has changed a fair bit from back in the day, dunno when he last rode at Foxhall and what his scores were when he did. -

What's that got to do with Becker getting injured🤬get back to dribbling over MJJ/Laguta or whoever your lastest w#*k piece is😑 -
Half the problem is these young riders have to much pressure put on them at a young age, and to much hype is made about them soon as people think their the next big thing, same happened to Parkinson-Blackburn/Bickley to name just 2 off the top of my head over the last few yrs, just hope the same doesn't happen to Cairns/Rushden when they start racing regularly.

King's Lynn v Ipswich KO Cup SF 1st leg 02/06/25
kevin bass replied to Bagpuss's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
No disrespect to Boughen but the ways he's been riding of late it prob makes Lynn stronger whoever they bring in to replace him, yeah if he gates he's fine but if he don't he just shuts off or backs out if things get tight, hope he gets his confidence back and his head straight coz the ability is there as shown when he first started riding, to bigger jump to soon haps or to much pressure, who knows, time will tell. -
Like been said all the top riders who want to ride over here already do as Sheffield found out when Woffy got injured, at best you might get Lambert and one or two more after an easy pay check come late in the season for a handful of meetings.

Agree it's best long-term to get fully fit b4 coming back but Ipi will struggle without him until he is back coz R/R clearly isn't the answer as proved against Leicester what with Brennan having a blip in form and no Thompson to take extra rides if needed, as already been said if anything Thompson is probably a bigger miss as the ain't no one really who can replace his scoring potential at reserve.

Extraleague Round 11 Sunday 13th July
kevin bass replied to racers and royals's topic in International World of Speedway
He's obviously broken hearted and can't perform to the best of his abilities coz he's heard his number 1 Fanboy has dropped him like a hot potato and gone back to his original first w*#k piece MJJ🫣 -

Ipswich v Birmingham 24th April
kevin bass replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Tbf Tobi normally loves it round Foxhall and Rew will be good value so Birmingham should at least get into the 30's i'd of thought, if 1 or 2 of the others chip in with a few points. -

Ipswich v Oxford Thursday 10th April
kevin bass replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Ipswich have long had a regular decent crowd and the chance to see Doyle and Emil week in week out has certainly brought some extra punters in, and as in any sport a winning team will always draw in a better crowd than a losing team, at the end of the day you can only beat what's put in front of you as the saying goes, Ipswich handing out a mauling at home is no different to Belle Vue or Sheffield hammering teams at home on a regular basis. -
Never heard of him😆

Edinburgh v Glasgow April 4th
kevin bass replied to Weeyin's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Young Dan was also a revelation for the Witches last season tbf and was riding well enough to rise out of the reserve position and ride at the much harder number 2 position b4 he had his shoulder injury that pretty much ended his season with Ipswich, he's started this season in the same kind of form he was in b4 his injury last season so hopefully he'll kick on again this year. -

Sheffield Tigers 2025
kevin bass replied to InTheDeepStuff's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
If i remember rightly Hume chucked away 2 or 3 points when in scoring positions in the home leg of the play off final against Sheffield the season before last that in the end made the difference between Ipi holding on for the aggregate win come the second leg at Sheffield, all ifs buts and maybes after the event tho you could say.
