The Air fence is not dragged down by the weight! 3. People can see the bloody things, Companies do actually PAY to have their company advertised you know, Would you like to pay for your bussiness to shown to millions of viewers across the world, only to have it covered up in crap!!!!!!!!!! 5. BSI, rights holders of the world championship FIM Speedway World Cup (SWC) and FIM Speedway Grand Prix Series (SGP), has today announced tickets for the FIM ASL Freight Movements Speedway World Cup Race Off and Final - taking place at Smallmead Stadium, Reading, on 20 July and 22 July respectively - are now on sale. This is the first time the stadium at Reading has hosted the world championship event and British fans will be able to see the top speedway nations in the world compete for the Ove Fundin Trophy. Until the 01 July 2006, a special combined Race Off and Final Ticket is available for just £35 (adult ticket). For the Race Off (20 July) any paying adult can bring up to two children under the age of 16 FREE. John Postlethwaite, Chief Executive, BSI, commented: “The Race-Off and Final of the World Cup has traditionally provided thrilling racing. Last year Poland lifted the trophy and showed what a difference having the support of the home fans makes. As an added incentive we are offering all paying adults who come to the Race Off the chance to bring up to two children free. We also have a special combined adult ticket for the Race Off and Final for those who book their tickets before 01 July. “We hope the British fans will come out in force for both events and help make this year a memorable occasion for not only the Brits, but all the teams involved. The World Cup is a terrific spectacle that no speedway fan should miss.” Britain last hosted the World Cup Race Off and Final in 2004 when Britain missed out on a gold medal by just one point. This year Great Britain face current world champions Poland, Australia and Finland at the opening event in Rybnik, Poland on 16 July. The winner of this event qualifies straight to the Final, the second and third placed teams will go to the Race Off to compete for one of two places up for grabs in the Final. Neil Middleditch, Great Britain team manager commented: “When Great Britain last hosted the World Cup two years ago we saw what it meant to the supporters and we know from experience how it can lift the riders when they have the home crowd behind them. There’s no doubt it’s worth a few extra points being at home and we must be in a position to take advantage of that.” FIM ASL FREIGHT MOVEMENTS SPEEDWAY WORLD CUP TICKET PRICES RACE OFF – 20 JULY 2006, Smallmead Stadium, Reading, 1915h Adult £20 Child (U-16): FREE!
