Relegation And Promotion Play Offs
Robbobee replied to flagrag's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Now that the team line ups are known - if you take the riders at their Championship GSAs ( converted for Nilsson as 8.59 ( 7.16 X 1.2 ) ) ... and assuming 8.40 GSA for r/r Przedpelski ? Lions total is excess of 53 points to Tigers 46-47 ? Should be a walk in the park for Lions although somehow don't think it will be given Bjerre and Bates's form around BP ! Cheers -
Poole V Swindon Semi Final 1st Leg 11/9/17
Robbobee replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Sorry Steve - but are you saying it would be ok to replace BWD with a guest as long as it's not a good one or a rider maybe better than BWD at Wimborne Road - just for clarity sake ! Seems a bit of an odd comment from you ? -
Poole V Swindon Semi Final 1st Leg 11/9/17
Robbobee replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
What a load of old 'b******s' ... I am sure Kyle will do what he always does as a professional speedway rider and try and score points for whichever team he rides for ... and if Matt Ford can't see that I would be very surprised given that he is supposed to be professional also ..... -
Love the comment - " came out of the office to witness another 5-1 to Rye House " .... shouldn't he have been out there already motivating his riders as opposed to stuck in an office ? Surely he has to take some of the blame cos it was his team after all !

Think you will find Przedpelski had another big crash yesterday ... no info about Kim NILSSON - AS FAR AS I KNOW HE DIDN'T RIDE IN Poland YESTERDAY ??

Leicester V Rye House 12.08.17
Robbobee replied to Barrow Boy 2's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
From the Leicester Web Site .... Club bosses have secured the services of Australian duo Rory Schlein and Cameron Heeps to step in for Nilsson and Erik Riss, who is in SGB Championship action for Edinburgh, against Rye House on Saturday. They are still working to secure a guest for Bjerre, whilst Kyle Newman will be fit to return from his foot injury. And co-promoter Marc Bates is targeting their home clash with Belle Vue on Saturday, August 19 to finally get back to full strength. Said Bates: “It’s a case of one step forwards, two steps back in many ways. We’ll be getting Kim and Kyle back soon, but then Lasse is ruled out and Pawel has had a setback. “Hopefully by the Belle Vue meeting we’ll have our full team back, and we’re looking forward to it.” Would be good if we can get Thomas Jorgensen as a guest for Lasse Bjerre who will be sorely missed around BP as will Erik Riss! Comments about a full team for Sat 18th - isn't Ippo riding that night so no King or Newman ?? Cheers -
Anybody know how both Lasse Bjerre and Kyle Newman are after both were withdrawn from their respective matches last night through injury ?? Can,t believe we Lions may have 4 riders out injured ......

Good post ...

Any news on which riders will replace Kim Nilsson / Pawel Przedpelsi this week at Rye House and Swindon then at Home v Kings Lynn yet ? Rye House Wed - only Wolves and Somerset not riding so guest list is sparse! Swindon Thurs - potential guest list better although will Danny King and Kyle Newman be riding as Ipswich are also riding that night ? Cheers
-
If we end up as part of a bigger Championship League - we wont keep may riders at all ... King - Ipswich Bates / Bjerre - both Sheffield Riss - Edinburgh Przedpelski - will he bother ? Nilsson - maybe he will bother .. Newman - Poole Better chance of retaining some of those riders if Premiership team
-
No topic as yet for this upcoming match ? Lions set to track Newman and Bates at reserve for this match given the new averages coming into force as of Mon ? Harris guests for the injured Kim Nilsson whilst we have r/r for Przedpelski meaning any of the riders can take a ride including Bomber - as far as I know no problems with Lions tracking King, Bjerre and Riss .... I reckon if we can keep clear of any more crashes / mishaps etc we can win this one .... go Lions ! Cheers

Leicester Lions Vs Swindon Robins 17/07/17
Robbobee replied to The Observer's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
So we have No 1 Kim Nilsson out injured, No 2 Pawel Przedpelski out injured, both Kyle Newman and Josh Bates coming back from injury but how fit are they ? We lost the match on Mon by a single point when we should have had the firepower to at least win having been 11 points up with 6 races to go .... and the web site says ' otherwise, was a good night for Leicester Speedway' ?? Got to be the most optimistic statement of the year I reckon !!! Still shell shocked after Mon .... -
Leicester Lions Vs Swindon Robins 17/07/17
Robbobee replied to The Observer's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Afraid Leicester Lions lost that meeting not because of Erik Riss fencing Pavel Przedpelski ( racing incident ), not because Lasse Bjerre gifted a point when he would have at least come second after falling off, not because Newman was injured and Bates was already out but because when we needed our Nos 1 & 5 to come to the races in Ht 13 and 15 we were found wanting ! ( Ht 13 1-5 and Ht 15 1-5 - not good enough from the top two despite their obvious effort -
If as is being reported elsewhere Jason Garrity is out for a month or so - we should be looking to bring in another rider - up to an 6.44 ? Wonder if Gomolski would come back on 6.43 ? Maybe Justin Sedgmen ? Kevin Wolbert ?
-
The end of season relegation battle is going to be interesting I reckon .... Lions v Monarchs / Glasgow or Ipswich .... not sure we would prevail over any of those three teams
-
Just one solitary heat winner for the Lions ( Lasse Bjerre ) during the whole match says it all - pathetic !
-
No point doing any more changes now unless either Lasse Bjerre and or Jason Garrity drastically under perform .... think both riders will come good anyways .... so let's look forward to some healthier scorelines starting tonight at Somerset ....
-
I think you will find the 38.07 figure you mention is wrong- looks like it is added up incorrectly ? Should be 41.22 ? Therefore only 0.78 to play with in replacing a rider ..... Cheers

New Averages For 42 Point Limit
Robbobee replied to DunRobin's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Somerset site lists both the Rebels side and Lions team for Friday night although Garrity is listed twice ! Once at 7.09 and again as 6.00 so which is it and why ? -
I reckon riders who haven't ridden 4H / 4A should be re-assessed and given a mean average of their true average for matches ridden and their starting average applied to the non matches ridden .... eg : Zengota Ridden 2 matches - 9 Rides / 11 points scored = 4.89 Non Ridden 6 Matches - 24 Rides / 65 (65.46) assumed points scored = 10.91 as per starting average Assumed Total - 33 Rides / 76 points scored = 9.20 Kasprzak Ridden 4 matches - 18 rides / 29 points scored = 6.44 Non Ridden 4 matches - 16 Rides / 44 (44.32) assumed points scored - 11.08 as per starting average Assumed Total - 34 Rides / 73 points scored = 8.59 AND SO ON ...... Make any sense ? Must go an lie down now .....

Leicester Lions V Belle Vue Aces 17 Jun 2017
Robbobee replied to Robbobee's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Did try and delete one of the posts as I must of double tapped it on origination but couldn't find out how ? Perhaps you can enlighten me so I don't do it again instead of posting a derogatory comment as you did .... might be a touch more helpful... Cheers -
So if Leicester Lions are to make changes to the team after the averages alter - who will it be ? Seems to me that unless Jason Garrity is given a new average closer to the 4 points he has averaged so far as opposed to the 8.52 he is currently - then he could be a rider in the 'firing line' or maybe we switch Danny Ayres for a 6.00ish average rider - or maybe we have a surprise heat leader 8.00ish rider ( don't know who ) to come in for someone ..... Jim Lynch has hinted several times there will need to be changes following recent matches ... so .... ????

Unless Kyle has asked to be dropped for a while, cannot understand the lad being dropped and replaced by Paul Starke - another good lad but hardly more proficient than Kyle Newman surely !? Ok if Newman was dropped and Milik came in or somebody of that calibre but .... ?
