Newcastle Vs Scunthorpe 19 Jul 2015 6.30pm

I was making the point that ALL NUFC fans are not very bright, not you specifically. You want the directors of the Diamonds to spend money to improve the team and have withdrawn your financial support until they do so. Why does the same thought process not apply to NUFC? Stoip going and Ashley might do something (or spend much less on supporting a Newcastle sporting club that has won something in the 21st century) -

NUFC are rubbish but you pay for a season ticket Diamonds are rubbish so you won't go Which theory does that dispel other than the one that NUFC fans are not very bright? -

I'm always at a loss as to why this mentality doesn't apply to Newcastle Utd who should also be playing to crowds under a thousand if results and performance was the main criteria -

Cracking meeting by the way. Much better than the score suggests. The outside line was back. Hint to the promoters. I'd love to watch Hansen every week. -

Speedway can't afford glory hunters unfortunately -
Not exactly making me want to rush to the turnstiles.

Lambert is a top talent. A future world champion if he keeps his head. Great to have two Brits capable of winning it over the next 5 years. -
Newcastle feel exactly the same about Sheffield. It's a horrible track unless you can afford a bike especially tuned for it. Anytime we score above 30 there we have a parade around Byker. I guess the three teams that arrived at Newcastle without the 'it sucks' attitude will be the ones who went home with an away win under their belts?

The Eastern Europeans never seem to come through though do they?

His first 4 laps of Brough Park, a very technically demanding track, was a heat win in the fastest time of the season. In his second race he missed the gate and in trying to make up ground went into the 3rd bend too hot and lost it. The impetuousness of youth. Not the first and he won't be the last. I remember a certain Darcy Ward falling off twice on his only visit to Newcastle. That is why a spell at a tight, difficult track early in a riders career is a good thing. They do need to learn that not all tracks are "open the throttle and hang on" arenas. The boy looks a top talent. Now if he could only have Todd's gating abilities he would be a nailed on World Champion.

Somerset 'v' Newcastle Fri. 29th May

Anything above 15 will be considered a moral victory -
Enjoyed last night despite the scoreline. Some good racing and Newcastle could have won had the real Christian Henry turned up. Kerr's fall was certainly his own fault. With Lindgren, it did look like Masters squeezed him a bit too hard without actually pushing him off. Seen them given either way and not going to complain too much about it. It's a tough sport and thank goodness for air fences.
