  1. Not quite. If it is your van then you are responsible and in control so not out of your control would not count.
  2. Still got a team with no R/S in the 1 to 7. Nowhere in the rules does it say one can be utilised at no 8. On another note what’s the real story behind the hold up on Freddie’s visa that suddenly clears after Monday nights meeting.
  3. I think they mean understrength, nearly ten points difference in team strengths including guests
  4. And Cook and Worrall need to score well to keep their team place, the poles can’’t fail tomorrow and the management put out that team and then blame the riders.
  5. Could say they (the Poles) won’t have a rubbish meeting, so lucky escape
  6. Lindgren Worrall Pawlicki Sedgman Brennan Cook Flint
  7. Can fit Fred in for Lampart and get Zach back to reserve. I think Pawlicki will improve and the team will be better balanced. Would let Sam go and run with Chris Adam’s as Team Manager.
  8. If he took over the counter meds for toothache, what’s different to him and Kyle. Both about to race in a meeting whilst under the influence of a banned substance. If he took over the counter meds, why is his ban 2.5 times longer than Ritchie’s. Lets not even fetch up the Barker saga, which if someone fishes long enough under freedom of information, etc could highlight some more inconsistencies. if he took over the counter meds for toothache , hopefully the toothache will have gone by the time his ban is up, why have hair analysed before he can come back. Something fishy. Something stinks.
  9. People keep talking of changes, but who realistically is there out there who wants to race. Maybe the cost cutting is due to the high cost of last season.
  10. All riders have this week been sent a memo showing how to adjust the position of the transponder. It no longer sits on top of the h frame at the top of the forks. it has to face downwards. How the hell did we get to May, at least 2 wrong results, one at Sheffield and one at Glasgow, and not know they are fitted wrong. There is even a pouch behind the fork covers, which is further forward than the h frame, but the memo does not say you cannot use the pouch. With the knowledge of the inconsistent fitting and the resulting false readings , surely the video evidence which is absolute, should be used and the results amended of the two matches affected.
  11. Maybe the fact that 3 of the first 4 races were won from gate 4 and Oxford had it 3 of those
  12. Good effort from both teams on a gaters track, hence first and lasts, Woffy had some speed, way faster than anyone else, but got away with not sitting still at tapes3 times. Poor ref. Not sure about Miliks lay down in run off ht, think he saw out of control Jack launch across track who only stayed on by Scottys ability to stay upright when others would have fallen. A big call for the ref if Scott had of gone down as would not have been all four back. If Pawlicki can get 10 points and Lampart and Worrall a couple more points each Brum will hold their own at home
  13. His bikes and his gear all arrived in Birmingham yesterday, he will be here. Delivered by his Polish mechanics.
  14. Genuine question who is paying the riders travel for this event. for example Zach Cook from Poole to Manchester and back in his hire van eats up his 500 mile a week allowance and no chance to earn any points money. Many more examples available.
  15. The Oxford riders had lots of track time the day before. The Brummies did excellent and maybe would have done more if they had got track time on Monday
  16. If not a ban then Scotty can only replace for a 28 day period, so effectively Pawlicki cannot come back before 28 days expire.
  17. DJC says money should be thrown at someone to fill Pawlicki’s boots but money in Poland means its not money that will convince someone to come over for a month. I don’t think Pawlicki will be allowed to ride for Brum before riding for his Polish team first. He will not miss a Polish meeting and I believe he will have to serve a 28 day ban in the UK. Not the best of starts. With a full team inc. Pawlicki Brummies would have been somewhat competitive in last years Premiership, but all teams have strengthened compared to last year leaving a very large gap. Fingers crossed they survive the season.
  18. Don’t think she will be Worky’s biggest issue, give her a chance
  19. Laguna would ride here for 3.5 to 4k per mtg. Np other add ons. He just does not want to come
  20. Think Brum are goosed now tbh. It’s obvious that they are having to work very hard to persuade someone to come over. None of the riders mentioned actually want to race in the UK so I would question how much effort they would put in.
  21. 100% believe Flint, Tom, Steve and Zach. ?The other 3 need to be higher ave so these are bottom 4 otherwise this is gonna go pear shaped before March
  22. I think some riders genuinely connect with the fans and Steve seems to be one of them. Saying good bye and Thank You to the fans came from the heart and I can see why Steve would rather say that aloud than let people read it in a crafted cold statement. Danny last yr, Lewis Kerr this yr would have loved the opportunity to say good bye in person. With so many riders leaving the championship, not cutting the points limit would have left 5 teams with 3 ht leaders and 4 teams about 5 points under the limit. As for the points limit and team building, I would say 80% of the riders know where they will be next season and at least 10% will be pretty sure, leaving around 9 riders sweating.
