Drew kemp on gate 1 warming his tyre constantly. Watch the amount of revs he gives it then puts the tyre onto the track at least 3 times.

Penny pinching causes this. Only the 6 qualifiers get a 2nd tyre. The two guys straight to the final then go out on a cold tyre that does not work as good as the semi finalists who have a warm tyre. All riders should get 2 tyres before the meeting and if that is not affordable then make the last chancers do an extra ride on their original tyre.

Massive disadvantage to top 2 having cold tyres v 2 semi finalists.
